Lg Electronics in Dayton, Ohio - LG Does not honor warranty
Our LG Stove that was purchased in 2007 claims to have a 5 year warranty on the cook top part. Our cooktop cracked and LG is now saying that our stove is out of warranty. They discontinued the part that would replace our cook top and only want to give us a pro-rated payment of 600 bucks for the stove even though we paid over 1,000 for it. We explained that it was not our fault the stove top cracked (it was a manufacturing issue) nor that they no longer make the part and therefore they should have to honor the agreement by either fully refunding our money or giving us a new stove with similar features and they refuse. Do not buy their products...they do not stand by them and they apparently do not last more than 2 years.

Our LG refrigerator needed repair jut out of the warranty period. Our LG microwave has been repaired 5 times and still is not satisfactory. LG appliances are of poor quality and their service is not much better. Their customer service is a laugh, their people are well trained at apologizing but not standing behind their products. I've spent an amount in service calls almost equal to the price of the microwave, it cooks unevenly, makes noises that can't be fixed, and has had the main power tube replaced 3 times since the original one. Lousy quality! Avoid this company, Don't buy LG!
