On 11/23/13 our 14 month old LG refrigerator died. I called Customer Service who provided an approved appliance repair center.

They could not come out until 11/25, upon which they determined the compressor died. On 11/25 I called LG to report the findings and was told in 3-5 business days they would decide whether to pay for repairs. On 12/5 I called and was told that the appliance repair center now had to call to get repairs covered. We finally received approval on 12/9.

I had to get a loaner refrigerator because of the delay.

LG said that even though it took them 19 days (instead of 3 to 5) to resolve the problem, they will not pay for the loaner. I will never purchase another LG refrigerator.

THEY ARE HORRIBLE AND DON'T STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS AT ALL. PLEASE READ THEIR WARRANTIES AND FINE PRINT BEFORE PURCHASING ANY OF THEIR PRODUCTS.

WE MUST REFUSE TO ACCEPT SUCH JUNK AND THEIR LACK OF SUPPORT FOR THEIR PRODUCTS. BUYER BEWARE!
