The disappointed part of LG company is that they don't keep there word. One my Nexus 5x because damaged and you return to the company to get it fix since is still under the warranty you will be expecting to get it fix right well this is what happen to me October 26,2016 I send it to get repair, I waited for weeks until I get email stating. Thank you for choosing LG Electronics for your mobile device! We recognize that you have numerous options when selecting a mobile device and it is our priority to provide you with the highest quality products and service. We're sorry to hear that you've experienced a problem with your LGH790 and appreciate you giving us the opportunity to provide a warranty repair. We have received your device at our repair facility but currently a part to complete the repair is out of stock and is no longer available. To rectify this issue, we would like to offer you a refund for the full amount of your device. That amount will be determined by your sales receipt. Your refund can take approximately 4 weeks to receive due to the holiday. Please reply to this email should you have any questions or concerns. Thank you again for choosing LG. So I waited I give it not later then mid December so I call and I speak to agent, he say sorry to hear that but it seem that is still processing we are not sure when it will get send. Am oh ok sure I give it another week and still the same answer so I talk to a supervisor and he say oh yes sorry to hear that so it should arrive with in a week to the location he even repeated to me. So I waited again and I gave another two weeks still nothing is already January I call oh ok sr let me check is this is your address and I say no that is my old address oh we send to that address oh ok let me request another and cancel that check it will take approximately two weeks or so to arrive to your new location. But that was not the address I confirm at beginning so I spoke to another supervisor and I request to send me the check by express mail of we don't have that sr it should arrive 1/23/17 to your new address you gave us. But I say is not my fault that want it not so I waited until that day arrive I gave it until the 1/24/17 see if arrive but still nothing I call again this would of be my 30x calling LG support and all I get oh is still pending or still prossesing how long doest a refund check takes to arrive to me but from all the agents how help me the responds ( sorry for the problem your going thru but that is all we could do ) this is the most *** think I hear from LG not only they are cheap but they don't seem to care about costumer care what so ever.

in order to get warranty repair on week old washer, LG schedules appointments with local service centers. First one didn't show up, then came on wrong day. Second one gave one date, then changed to a week later. 40+ minute hold times, hard to reach a human, email confirmations contain wrong info. took over a half hour to get a supervisor on phone. Will just return product rather than deal with LG again. Once you buy their product they just don't care about you anymore. They actually told me to go back to retailer. I will go back to retailer----to return products and choose another manufacturer.

My 4 year old LG washer started to rust around the bleach dispenser less than 2 years after buying this machine. The rusting has continued and now a larger area around the dispense is involved.

As the base metal has rusted under the porcelain finish it began to flake off. Today I scraped backed the damaged area, cleaned the heavy rust off the area with a Drummel tool, and primed the area with Rustoleum Rust Reformer. Tomorrow I will prime with a metal primer and follow with an epoxy finish coat. I believe a manufacturing error was made where in the edge of the bleach dispenser sheet metal cut out was not coated at the factory.

This left a raw metal edge where the rusting began and it continued up under the porcelain finish. This is the same process that happens to a car's sheet metal panels. While the repaired area will never match the existing factory finish I believe my rust problem has been solved. That being said, LG design, manufacturing, quality control, and response to customer complaints needs vast improvement.

This is a problem they know about but even after thousands of customer complaints they refuse to admit their culpability and stand behind their product. At the very least they should offer a repair kit for free or for a nominal cost so their customers can do the repair themselves.

Because of their poor customer service as it relates to this specific problem, it is doubtful that many former customers will ever buy another LG product. I count myself amoung those customers.

Exactly the same problem. Am now starting to get rust and flaking factory painting on underside of lid and appliance top.

I rarely use bleach and always run a clean tub cycle afterwards, so LG's attempt to blaim the consumer for being sloppy with the 'corrosive products the bleach dispenser is intended to handle males absolutely so sense. I fear my otherwise wonderful washing machine is a loss.

my piece of garbage LG top loader is doing same thing. Costumer service dont care.

They said "oh you missed the warranty by 3 month but you can pay to have it fixed." I'm fixing my pile myself. Thanks LG.

Same rust issue here on top load washer and we hardly ever use bleach. Need a class action suit against LG for this defect. LG makes low quality products, hate to see all these go into landfills after only a few years of operation.

LG Stylo

I paid nearly $200 to upgrade to the LG Stylo. A few months later, the phone screen flickers and sometimes stops responding. Many people are having the same issues. I went back to the phone store and asked to have it repaired or replaced, they said it has to be replaced by LG. I contacted LG over 2 weeks ago and no one has replied. I have upgraded all the firmware, removed all apps, reset the phone, and still have the same issues. The screen flickers like a strobelight. It dims, but doesn't completely go black. It makes reading the phone very difficult and messes with my eyes.

I had a LG G4 Cellphone, not nearly as advanced and big as a fridge but believe me it was just as much of a hassle trying to get it repaired. It took over a month for them to repair it when they said it would only take a week. I called once a week every week till it was repaired and they always had a different excuse. Then they said I'll receive and email when repair was complete. Um... No email. I had to call and they said yea it was repaired five days ago but hasn't shipped out yet. It's been over a week and they haven't even shipped it out back to me yet. They're "waiting on FedEx to pick up." Like seriously WTF? How long does it take for FedEx to pick up a small package? This is seriously the worst customer service experience I've ever had.

Mary : Hi Nick!

Nick : Hi I want to know how to add or save a contact list with my mac?

Mary : How may I help you today?

Mary : Can you please describe your concern further? Nick I want to save or add contacts from my computer to my phone Mary : Do you mean you want to transfer the contacts from the PC to the phone, by connecting the phone using a USB cable?

Nick ATT was able to move my contacts from my old phone to my B470. How can I do that? Nick: USB or bluetooth Mary : If the contacts are saved on your PC as a VCF file, yes the phone can receive this through Bluetooth. Nick : What is the process?

Nick : VCF is one at a time. What about all at once? Mary : To receive files via Bluetooth you just need to turn on the phone's Bluetooth by going to Settings > Connection > Bluetooth. Mary : But since this is a Mac PC.

we do not have information on how to send files through bluetooth. Nick: I know how to turn on bluetooth, but how do I send a contact list to my Mac and why don't you consider Macs? Mary R: We do not have that much information for Apple products. Mary R: We only have limited resources here from my end Nick.

Nick : You really expect me to believe that Apple won't give you the info? Nick : Who can I talk with that would have some clout on this? Nick : Your telling me that if I own a Mac I shouldn't by your products? Mary R: That's not what I mean Nick.

Nick : It sure sounds like it Nick : You don't support Mac users Mary R: But since we only have limited resources here, we do not have information for Mac's features and settings. Nick : Your one of the largest electronics companies in the world and LG doesnt have resources?

Mary R: I can walk you through on how to receive files on the phone. But in sending using Mac, I strongly suggest that it is best that you contact Mac Support.

Customer service only knows what they seem to tell them about there product. When asked for help working with there product on a Mac, I was told they only know how it works with Windows, because LG only has window computers.

They could care less about Mac users.

The latest LG drivers and software don't work with newer Mac computers for USB connections. I have a B470 and it appears there is no way it will USB connect to my Mac. When talking with LG support they only say it's incompatible and there isn't anything I can do about it. They could care less. Personally, after 4 phone calls I think there all IDIOTS! I need to enter at least 100 words, so I c/p The latest LG drivers and software don't work with newer Mac computers for USB connections. Phone updater stalls

LGUserCSTool.exe, the active updater application in the LG Mobile Support Tool, stalls when downloading new android firmware, and makes it necessary to spend hours on the internet trying to find active links to the update(s), wading through many phony sites that thrown up fake virus warnings; the whole thing is a virtual minefield, and the worst support that I have seen since the support for windows 95! C'mon, LG, G.I.(T.F.)T. (get it together!!!). I would not have to do this if the phone was working properly in the first place, but it is unable to connect with the mobility network that I have an account on so I am stuck without a mobile device with no operational help from LG. My Rating: Zero!!!

Needless to say that I’m a bit upset that I’ve tried to participate in the battery promo twice for my new LG G5 and all of the photos that LG can’t read were taken with the amazing camera on my LG phone. The day I brought home my new phone, I sent in my first application for the LG extra battery promo. It was rejected by LG because they couldn't read the receipt. My carrier printed a new copy of my receipt and I sent in a second application. This one was also rejected by LG. The best part is that each rejection was signed " All the best, LG Electronics. The phone has been great so far, but the lack of LG standing behind this promotion hasn't promoted my confidence in them standing behind their product if I do have a problem. This may be my last LG product.

Absolutely the worst customer svc. Sent watch in for am estimate for a cracked screen, they wanted $80 for a 1"glass. Opted to not repair as watch still works fine. Got watch back, missing a screw, the other 3screws were falling out, and won't tighten. Sent back, with a note that I was aware of the screen issue, just wanted the screws fixed as they were responsible for this. They sent me another quote for the screen. 12 phone calls later, and hours literally, on hold, they finally agreed to fix the screw issue. Over a month without a working watch. I would gladly have paid $50 for a screen, but $80, they are nuts.

Lack of customer support

After purchasing a high end oled hdtv, I needed to purchase extra 3D glasses. At this point I've emailed LG five times, called their support phone (twice) with no call back, sent a letter via US mail. Four months has gone by and ZERO response. After spending $6000.00 dollars for the TV and no support, just great!!! What must one do to get help/attention with these people? The above describes my problem, I don't need more words. However I'll simply add more blather to fill the box. Eighty so far, this is almost as bad as dealing with LG support. Thank you for listing my complaint this time.

I have the same $6000 TV. Just be happy it's lasted you this long.

Mine had a service issue after only ONE month! And the service is HORRENDOUS!

Even the management team member was rude & useless.

I'm selling it at a $2000 loss as soon as it's "repaired" & buying a Samsung for 1/2 the money. Not worth the stress.

Purchased a brand VZW LG G4 cash and accidently dropped it after 2-3 weeks of use. To ensure I got it repaired by the experts I called and got advice how to return the item for repair. Followed the instructions to the tee and after weeks of calling LG Customer Support I'm advised that someone signed for the package at the repair facility but they have no idea who and recommended I work with USPS for a solution. USPS responded they delivered to the LG repair center but LG continues to say they did not recieve the device. So I'm caught between two corporate giants and bring advised it is my problem. I am out $585 and at my wits end and have no where else to turn, so I'm seeking relief through complaint sites. By the way I also contacted the Better Business Bureau but LG keeps feeding them the same line. Help, is there no help for ...

Awful customer service

My television (47LN5400) has been the most frustrating electronic device repair endeavor I have ever encountered. I waited over three months this summer through the fall (repair process from June through September) for LG customer service representatives to finally help me. I was blown off multiple times a week by people who I could barely understand and who continued to patronize me when I had done everything they suggested to expedite the repair of my television. I finally had to ask if I could speak with the supervisor, who was a much better communicator and finally began the process of helping me. It took another week or two after a discussion with him, but the TV was repaired. My TV lasted for three months and failed again on 12/26. I called your customer service on 12/27 and was told that I would have the TV or the repair handled within 10 days. I was relieved, but cautious based upon my last interaction with your customer service team. It is now 1/9/16, and I'm continuing to get the run around by your representatives who sound just like the people who appeared to be "waiting me out" over the last three month repair process. The person who has been handling my case of late, is very difficult to understand and her intentions or "help" is without solution. I would sincerely appreciate news that my case is being handled with care and consideration rather than the avoidance and dismissive attitude I am experiencing yet again after my last three months of a functioning product.

LG DVD home theatre sound cuts out

I have had to contact LG 4 times plus a call to their third party repair center. The LG responses indicate they do not understand. The only repair facility provided to me is not conveniently located and only open M-F 9 to 5 when I am at work. I called them and they advised that the likely solution to my sound problem is to replace the mainboard for a cost up to $200. I checked out my sound problem with this unit on the web and it is a common problem, therefore LG must be aware of the defect. My LG unit began having intermittent sound problems when it was 3 to 4 years old which has now increased to the point it is unusable. I am surprised that it would fail so soon. I have owned many electronics from other manufacturers in the last 20 years and none have failed like this in such a short time with limited use (I used it maybe once or twice a week). This is the first LG item I have ever owned. I was wondering if LG could offer a goodwill gesture by providing a meaningful rebate towards a new and improved home theater? Or maybe forget about LG products as this one is unreliable and their Customer service is poor

On August 27 I received an email stating I would receive shipping confirmation of my LG promo shipment in 3-5 days and I would receive my package in 2-4 weeks. I received nothing. I have emailed 5 times and called customer service 5 times. When I went on LG website it gives an option to select 3 different colors so your shipment will not be delayed if a color that is selected its not in stock. My shipment is in pending status and despite my multiple calls and emails no one will fix it still so it will remain pending indefinitely. The department who handles the promos will not email me back and they apparently do not take phone calls. Customer service has claimed to "escalate" the matter 3 times and every phone call ended with the day they will call me back with resolution. The last day I expected a call was this past Tuesday. When they didn't call I called back and this time I was just told to wait, 4-6 weeks this time. I am beyond frustrated. I ordered this phone after having a LGG2 for a year with battery and charging port issues. I figured if I had the extra battery and charging dock the common battery issue and charging port issues with LG phones would be a non issue but being they won't send it to me for I don't know what reason I am now stuck with the same type phone with the same issues and no means of resolution. If LG will not send me what they promised I will be left with no choice but to cut my losses and purchase a different phone from my carrier.
