An LG3 phone was taken off the charger mid November 2015. It started on fire, melting and burning our hardwood floor in 6 separate locations and nearly starting the house on fire had it been 6" closer to our bedding. That was 4 months ago, LG has a middleman in NJ who stalls you. I January I got a message from LGE who simply said it is in our legal department and it'll take 2 months! NOT WE ARE SORRY AND WILL DO ANYTHING WE CAN TO HELP YOU AND PREVENT THIS HAPPENING AGAIN TO ANYONE. I get more aggravated by the day as I continue to look at the near catastrophic remains on our floor. Finally contacting the AG and a lawyer. No more LG anything

Plasma tv no power only clicking | Lg Electronics review from Houston, Texas

I purchased a LG50PA4500 plasma tv in 2012 and it stopped working over 8 months ago, so it lasted less than 3 years. The television will not power on and there is only a clicking sound with a small red blinking light in the rear when plugged into an electrical outlet. From reading numerous blogs and other sites, I understand this may be a common issue. Will never purchase another LG product and will trash this one because repairs through LG is only warranted for 3 months. The tv is a purchased from Fry’s Electronics.

Has any Canadian consumers had this problem with their LG ovens? Have any consumers, from anywhere, had success joining a class action lawsuit?

Buyers Beware. Our appliances are all LG. We had a huge fight with LG to get a 4 month old washing machine replaced. (they could not find the source of the leak.

The drum light on the replacement no longer works.

The True Balance system is a joke. Sometimes it just can't balance itself.

Suzanne Hannah 75 yrs, phone # 864354396. shhannah99@gmail.com I have had 4 LG mobile phones, 1 tablet, 2 TV , 1 smart tv , & a new dryer I just love the dryer and tvs. But this last phone in trashy. .It will not charge , received calls. Can't get any Apps , when typing anything it DISAPPEARS AND CANNOT be found . I am well versed on computers, i was working in a a bank and helped put checking accouts on computer & was working in another bank and put their installment loans on the computer. I am well aware of all phases of computers. My phone is under warranty and under the circumstances I deserve a new phone. This one cannot be fix. By the way the phone company sucks, dropped calls., no Internet half the time, lost messages, etc, I could go on forever about my phone but i want. All I want is a new phone Contact me ASAP. My television (47LN5400) has been the most frustrating electronic device repair endeavor I have ever encountered. I waited over three months this summer through the fall (repair process from June through September) for LG customer service representatives to finally help me. I was blown off multiple times a week by people who I could barely understand and who continued to patronize me when I had done everything they suggested to expedite the repair of my television. I finally had to ask if I could speak with the supervisor, who was a much better communicator and finally began the process of helping me. It took another week or two after a discussion with him, but the TV was repaired. My TV lasted for three months and failed again on 12/26. I called your customer service on 12/27 and was told that I would have the TV or the repair handled within 10 days. I was relieved, but cautious based upon my last interaction with your customer service team. It is now 1/9/16, and I'm continuing to get the run around by your representatives who sound just like the people who appeared to be "waiting me out" over the last three month repair process. The person who has been handling my case of late, is very difficult to understand and her intentions or "help" is without solution. I would sincerely appreciate news that my case is being handled with care and consideration rather than the avoidance and dismissive attitude I am experiencing yet again after my last three months of a functioning product.

LG LFX25973 Fridge - Dual Ice Makers broke 4 times in 15 mths | Lg Electronics review from Saint Louis, Missouri

Bottom line: Both ice makers stopped producing ice twice (4 total calls to service center) in a 15 month period. This new fridge came with the home I purchased in Nov 2014. The bottom ice maker stopped working after 11 months in Oct 2015. Technician showed me the reset button (not in the manual) and it worked again. He also explained the freezer door has a tendency to get slightly derailed causing moisture to freeze up the maker. He also showed me how to fix the track issue. The top ice maker stopped working 2 weeks later (still in Oct). The phone service center talked me through finding the reset button (not in user manual). It worked. The bottom ice maker stopped working again the next month (Nov 15). With holidays I didn't call it in until the top ice maker stopped working in Jan 16. Because I didn't have a receipt, the warranty people were nice to honor the home purchase price for the first technician's visit. But, it cost me $225 (parts and labor) to have both ice makers replaced despite the issues arising during the original warranty period. Other than that, no other complaints. The rest of the features work as advertised and it seems quiet to me. Long story short, I think the ice makers should be more reliable and last longer than a year.

I agree...there are a lot of similar reports online regarding electrical fires in dishwashers that LG doesn't seem to care about recalling. I will not buy from a company that doesn't care if they burn down my house. Did you have any luck with your legal action?
