Refrigerator freezer had a bad component. Totally freezes up all the drawers. Suppose to be frost free ... right??? Nope Within 2 yrs had major problems. Ice maker and water dispenser quit working. $3500 for a refrigerator that only lasts 2 yrs. I could have bought me a better car to drive instead. Oh ok and when it got overloaded with ice in the freezer department it melted because apparently there was no heater to defrost the ice and the computer did not know how to turn itself on to evaporate the ice. I am now on my 10 call with LG to try and fix everthing again for the fourth time. It takes weeks for anyone to come to my house because I live in a small town. Now they are saying I need a whole new computer panel. and and and and and and and and and aND Icould go on forever. I am 65 years only and I am pretty sure this is going to be my last refrigerator because I am on social security. I am living off of one thousand dollars a month and my taxes and my insurance do not go down. so next time I buy a refrigerator I will be buying made in AMERICA. Not Chinese bull ***. gET It

MY LG REFRIGERATOR BROKE DOWN AFTER 2 YEARS.LG authorised technicians were called for repair and after waiting for lot of parts from different location problem was not solved.Finally they came to conclusion that compressor is broken and need to be replaced however they do not have the same in stock -compressor is in warranty (for 5 years).They informed me that only way out is I need to settle for compensation in exchange of this fridge as they have stopped manufacturing compressor of similar type.On asking I am offered compensation of 25% of new fridge cost ???!!!!.NOW without fault of mine I am suffering since last 1.5 month and now they are least interested in resolution.NOBODY from customer care is listening and directing to local representative who has even closed our ticket using his influence :-( LIFE IS GOOD ??- PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM LG AT ANY COST IF YOU WANT YOUR LIFE TO BE GOOD

Avoid LG... might be nice, but customer service does not exist with them. Bought a 55 inch Ultra 4K HD TV and just this week an LG G4 phone. Cannot get anyone (live) in customer service. Emails go unanswered, and their on-line chat people are clueless - typical call center overseas with no help. Corporate does not answer their phones and lets them ring, on and on. If you call the number given for LG cell phones, you get an automated machine asking you to input your number so it can send you a text message which re-directs you back to LG's web site.... you go in one big circle. Totally useless..... do not buy LG and expect any help - it does not exist. They only want to sell a product, after that, you are on your own.

LG stove recall | Lg Electronics review

i purchased an LG stove in 2006. I had an issue where the stove would not shut off. The only way to turn it off was to trip the breaker for the stove. This was the beginning of July. I found out on line that there is a recall on this stove for this same issue. I called LG to get it repaired. This started my nightmare! LG tells me that they have to send out their "approved" repair service. They said it would take 3 to 5 days to locate one and that they would call me. After 5 days, no call, so I called them. I was told that it appeared that nothing was done and that they would "escalate" the call. That did no good either. Again nothing done. I demanded to speak to a supervisor and was put on the phone with someone who has no business being in any customer service position! He was rude and could care less about the issue. 2 weeks later I get a call from the repair person. He asked if LG shipped me the defective part. NO they did not. He states that he cannot do anything without the new part. While at my house he orders it and states I should get it in 1 to 2 days. 2 days later, call LG as I have not received the part. They state 3 to 4 days. So I wait another two days, no part. Call again, the rep. Calls THEIR APPROVED service place to check. The rep gets back on the phone with me and states that she did not like the run around she got from the repair place and was again going to escalate my call. I have had no resolution yet to their recalled appliance. I am not suppose to use my stove as it may burn my house down. LG does not care about any of it! They are the worst company I have ever dealt with especially with a defective product of theirs! DO NOT EVER BUY AN LG PRODUCT OF ANY KIND!! If it did not cost so much I would ship it to their HQ and leave it on their front doorstep!

New Televison broken in less than 5 months | Lg Electronics review from Houston, Texas

On January 15th, 2015 I purchased a LG 60 Plasma television from Microcenter located 5305 S Rice Ave, Houston, TX 77081. On June 27th, 2015 the television went out. A call was placed to LG support on June 28th. A service call was sent to a local vendor to come out and replace a part on July 7th. The technician determined that a different part was need and an order was placed. A new appointment was scheduled for July 14th. I received a call on 9th, from the local repair vendor that the part was on back order and may not be received until the July 27th, 2015 and they will be out on the July 29th. After speaking with LGs customer service department, it was determined that the part is on further back order. Proof of purchase information has been sent to both LG and the local repair vendor. All need information has been provided to the EXECUTIVE SUPPORT, yet I still don’t have my television fixed or replaced. WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE TO EITHER REPAIR OR REPLACE MY SET? I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE EXPERIENCED SUCH POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE IN MY LIFE. EVERYTHING IS CONTINOUSLY BEING PUSHED OUT. I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE A RESOLUTION BEFORE FOOTBALL SEASON STARTS. TV was a gift for in-laws. TV picture went blank after 16 months of use. Felt that LG could work with me to help out elderly in-laws on repair. Said they would pay but took over 2 months to get back to me and that was only because I kept calling. Said they call back but never would. By then I had TV repaired to please parents. LG then refused to pay because not a authorized LG repair dealer. Repair dealer has been in business for over 40 yrs. They knew TV was at repair dealer and said they would cover it. BUY SAMSUNG!
