LG unable to repair front load washer for over 4+ months

Our 30 mo washer began making noise and smoking Aug 2017 and here we are nearly at 2018 with no repair. Given multiple dates when parts would be available, then when then arrived Dec 14 and repairman can on Dec 15, the wrong parts were sent. Some person or computer changes the model from V to R, hence, the parts for another model were finally sent after 5 months. Several complaints to LG but to take the matter someone who could actually make a difference we were told to write "The Office of the President," of LG, which we did. Our letter was received Dec 5. We received a drop dead letter basically blaming the entire issue on the company that handles extended warrant repairs. They failed to address why they could not provide parts in a timely fashion. Our requests for a replacement washer fell on deaf ears both at LG and Best Buy where the machine was purchased. We have complained to Best Buy, Pacific Sales, and LG. Best buy is the only company responding with a desire to satisfy a very disgruntled customer. Repairman set to return Dec 21. We will see what happens then. LG is the worst company to handle customer service issues. Avoid LG products!!!!!

LG Workforce washer - UNACCEPTABLE!!

LG Workforce top load washer - same problems - bought in 2010 and 3 yrs ago it started to rust around the bleach dispenser along with rust where the hinges are where the door connects. Now, the bleach dispenser (trim piece taken off) is barely hanging on because of the rust. I used to use the bleach dispenser maybe once a week. I will NEVER buy LG again!! Oh, and the panel went out at 6 months old, replacement took 3 weeks to get! A service guy says to me “why didn’t you buy made in America”? - No comment!!

LG OLED TV BEWARE !!!!!

I spent 4k on an LG OLED tv one year ago - the TV now shows green blobs on the screen ( TV IS STILL UNDER THIER SO CALLED WARRANTY). I have placed numerous phine calls into LG's warranty department (obvoiusly the calls go to another country, as yoy can bareley underatand the people). After numerous calls, i have been given the run around on who will comw out and service the TV - going in week three, still no service center that will come to my location and look at the issue.

LG Products vs Warranted Repairs

I do not recommend any LG products. We purchased a refrigerator from Home Depot and it has stopped cooling. I contacted LG and used the reset instructions they gave and it did not help. I called a repair service and they looked at the unit and told me it is a “sealed”unit and they don’t service these systems. I contacted LG and they said I needed to contact AAA Appliance Repair who does their repairs. AAA told me that they won’t work on anything without authorization from LG. I again called LG who told me that they would e-mail authorization within 48 hours, that was 6 days ago. I called LG again and they now informed me that AAA doesn’t work on sealed system either. I asked the person helping me if they knew this why didn’t they contact a repair service that did work on these systems and of course she could not help. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she told me they will have to send this to their “resolutions department” and it will take another 4 to 7 days for them to find a repair facility. We have been without our refrigerator for a month and this have been very expensive, necessitating eating out or buying prepared foods. It now appears the only recourse I have is seek legal actions. In addition I am filing complaints with the BBB and Consumer Reports. I am also going to post this on Facebook.

I purchased a washing machine on December 3rd,2017 Delivery date was December 18th my machine was delivered and the whole Bottom of the washer was SMASHED!!! I called Home Depot and LG and they set a new delivery date for JANUARY 2,on January 1st I got a voice message saying they were unable to deliver onthe 2nd and NEW DATE WOULD BE JANUARY 5THVERY POOR SERVICE!!!!

Pink Lg Range

I purchased an LG Range in 2015. I love the range and it works really good. The problem is that just after 2018 the handle and the part the handle is attached to started turning pink. I contacted LG and submitted a copy of the receipt, invoice and pictures of my range that has turned pink. After getting the run around 4 times I talked to a supervisor who informed me that as long as the range is working they do not fix cosmetic issues. So I told them that I would be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, (which I did), consumer complaints, and I would also post it on my Facebook page as well so everyone would know not to purchase from LG.

LG clothes washer model WT5070cw - Rusted Bleach Compartment

Approximately 1 year from purchase of the above LGclothes washer- rust began appearing on some clothes. We discovered that the Bleach Compartment was rusted underneath the snap in cup.

The finish on the machine isn't even powder coated - just Painted ! We bought this item as our daughter had recently bought one and said she loved it. She lives in Texas and we live in Utah. About the same time we started seeing the rust - we called our daughter and she had the same issue.

The interesting thing is that she never uses bleach as she is allergic to chlorine. Had the metal been Powder Coated instead of just painted - this would not have happened. I also called LG and basically - they said too bad - so sad !! I am sure that every washer of this model or type of painted metal with a Bleach Cup slot - has rusted.

If and attorney reads this - not that it would be a huge deal to him/her - but a class action lawsuit would maybe make them stand behind the quality of the product that they make. I can be reached at 801-701-**** or at gary.b.andersen@***.com

LG 6 phone is junk do not buy.

I bought an LG 6 cell phone only 4 weeks ago and it has locked up and I cannot recover the photos or data on it and LG says they cannot either. They say the the photos are lost, and these were priceless to me. I bought the phone prior to my dream trip to Euorope because the cell phone sales rep said that it had the best camera. I would never buy this phone again. LG had similar issues with its LG 4 phone. All I want is my photos and data. LG offered a replacement phone, but why would I want another peice of junk. Their warrany will not refund my money so that I can buy a different phone, and they will not even attempt to recover my lost photos or data. Sorry no warranty and no customer service. Junk Junk Junk LIFE Is NO Good with LG

LG Mobile Bluetooth - DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT

In June 2016 I purchased the LG Bluetooth HBS 810. I paid 100.00 for the headset. In December 2016 one of the headset buds stop working. I mailed to LG and they replaced the headset with a new headset 12/2016. In 12/2017 the same problem occurred with the new headset. One of the earbuds stopped working. I called LG customer server and was told the warranty no longer applied to the new headset that was sent. Although I had it shy of a few days from being a year. I thought out of good faith and standing behind their product they would repair or send a new one. They refused to assist It is obvious there is a malfunction with the earbuds. I do not recommend this product.

Per your customer service I cannot have headphones and volumn on the tv at the same time. I had a ge tv that I could have both on. If you are old or have hearing problems you cannot use both. I am old. I live on social security. I saved to buy this tv total waist of money. If you are old do not buy an lg tv

i am using a front loading 5.5 Kg LG washing machine. registered a complaint (No. RNP 180604****57) for Water drainage problem on 2nd jun after 2 days a stupid Technician Mr Rabbani Visits us and says problem is solved within 2 mins . We paid 590 Rs as service charges, have the reciept. we realized that the problem is still there. till now we are pissed up calling the customer care daily so many times , , they gave contact numbers of local hyderabad service centers but Mr Kishor Kumar and evnen Mr siddhart were too irresponsible and useless for us. i think no one should buy the LG products for their Hopeless Service.

Bought a dishwasher, new model, no reviews, but that has really changed. Model Ldf554ST, is a piece of junk, many reviews, will back me up, it could possibly be a good dishwasher if you could get service on it, LG are the biggest liars when it comes to scheduled service, they will tell you that a tech will be there on a certain day, a couple days before appt. You will get a phone call from someone telling you they don't work on LG products, that you must call and get rescheduled, this has gone on 6 times enough is enough Im ready to contact a consumer agency, Anyone else want to get on the bandwagon contact me bhines4@***.com

I purchased an LG tv from walmart. I baught the 3 yr service plan. 9 months later i was watching my tv and the factory stand broke causing the tv to fall and break. I called Lg and they said they cant cover it. It should still be covered under the manufacturer waranty. This is clearly a defect. I have two small children and if tbat would have fell on them it cpuld have seriously hurt them. I dont understand why they would not replace this.

To our dismay it stopped cooling July3, 2017. We called the company and they told us to call a technician . they gave us three numbers. We did call one of their techs and he told us it was the compressor and coil evaporator.

The parts were covered by the company ($200) but the labor would be $700. What a shock! Now the worst part is that the parts were back ordered for 3 weeks. Why?

Because they were having massive problems with this refrigerator. Complaints all over the internet. We called Home Depot and asked them if they would help us resolve the problem of waiting and find out why LG was still selling this refrigerator. Oh, no, it was not their product and they were not responsible.

We called LG and they told us they were not going to do anything at all. Really, they said we are not going to to anything. Have a good day! When we finally received the parts and the tech arrived 3 weeks later to fix the Refrigerator he found inside the box with the new parts instructions with a diagram showing how to fix the problem and exactly where it was leaking !!!!

WHAT??? This proves that they are having massive recalls or problems with these specific parts. We feel that LG should be responsible for Parts and Labor We are seeking retribution for our expenses to repair this refrigerator. $700 LG should be made to take this appliance off the market.

We paid $2700.00 on sale for this refrigerator at Home Depot, 851 Montlimar, Mobile, AL. 36609.
