Brand new in our home 1 day. Filled the new refrigerator with food. All good until we looked st the unit about 6 hours later. Error code on control panel. Called the service department but the line no longer works. Called customer service. That error code means a technician has to call tomorrow to make an appointment. Don’t both calling made Home Depot take it back Garbage unit

L G Dishwasher Bad product , service is worse

Have called for service 5 times, technician was supposed to arrive on 8-17 between 1 and 5 PM. No show , never called. Rescheduled through Corporate office on 8-18 , same time. Recd call at 2:30 advising technician , did not report in, could not find technician. Called " customer service " in the Phillipines , rep agrgued with me abpout time of day , kept insisting I was on CST , not EST Now rescheduled for 8-22 Will never buy another LG appliance . Want repair done at NO Chrge or unit replaced No one at this Company cares about service or reputation of their product . If H H Gregg ( where I purchased unit were still in business , would drop unit off on theri door step We will see

Lies and more lies. Not honoring a warranty

On June 7 of this year my saga with LG started. They attempted the first repair on my not quite two year old refrigerator which has an extended warranty on top of being under manufacturers warranty.

Till today there have been 6 repair attempts plus a few more diagnostic visits and they haven't been able to make it work once. Lately the technician whose name is Kevin but won't tell me his last name has become disgruntled. Has failed to show to his appointments 7 times. This means 28 hours of waiting.

He has stated on his last two visits that there is nothing he can do and claims he will deem unrepairable but when I call LG they say he has not named it so. I have asked for alternate solutions with other technicians or perhaps outsourcing to authorized service providers but they just keep rescheduling Kevin who hasn't been able to fix and has just stopped showing up. They say they reached out to him and his manager but nothing happens. The extended warranty company called Warrantech states their hands are tied since they only will use LG.

I am out of patience and ideas; seems this company is stalling. This has been disruptive to my family, expensive in having to eat or order out much more often, having to wait for hours for a tech that won't show up and the anxiety that it has produced.

Out of patience and idea short of a lawsuit. Anyone with experience in this?

AVoiding responsibilty to fix a Televiison under warrenty

30 days washer dryer combo, washer is defective dryer has sensor issues.

I purchased the combo on 5/18/17 the units work fine for the 1st two weeks. Then my clothes were no longer coming out the washer clean and the dryer was drying only part of the clothes. I studied the manuals, watch you tube trouble shooting, and blog about the issues. I finally called lg they sent someone out to repair the issue on 7/10/17 to find out the agitator is stripped. How can an agitator strip in two weeks? I called the company to send a replacement device and they stated all they could do is repair the unit each time it break. I have to miss time off from work to wait for a repair person, pay washateria cost while I'm waiting on parts. I've previously lost over a thousand dollars in repairs, missed time from work, and washateria cost on the last LG unit I had, that lead me to purchase this new one less than 60 days ago. 6 months of repairs on my last unit to do it all over again with a new unit. I'm beyond frustrated.

I have finally heard from lg on 5/16/2017 and they finally made a shipping label to ship me back my phone (not fixed) they still didn't ship my phone back I had spoke to someone on 5/12/2017 and said i wanted my phone back i had enough with the games they were playing...

My lg v10 shut off and wouldnt completely restart 6 months after i bought it i sent it to lg and they said they repaired it now its 11 months later and the same problem has happend again and lg refuses to fix it and says that the sticker on the back of the phone has been taken off and that voids the warranty the problem is when lg sent the phone back to me back in june they snet the phone back to me without the sticker on someone at lg either took the sricker off by mistake or they sent me back a referbished phone and thats not the phone i sent them at the time i had no idea that sticker even made a difference i thougjt that my recipient that i had to send was what was important and all o cared about when i got the phone back was that if it worked or not which it did so i was happy which is why i did not call and ask why the sticker was gone which in this case was the worst thing i did because now lg will not fix my phone i spoke to 7 different people even supervisors and got no kind of help at all none i could completely understand if i was calling and had never sent the phone back and was a new customer and didnt have an issue before and this sticker was not on the phone but this problen happend 11 months ago and i sent my phone back and now it has happend again and its the exact same issue EXACT SAME ISSUE and THEY took the sticker off of course there not taking any blame for it either and are saying i cant prove they did it just like they cant prove i did it. But with that being said again when your dealing with customer service and a big company this is the second time iam sending this phone back for the same issue clearly either they didnt fix it right or there is something wrong with these parts and since i sent this back before even with the sticker off since they cant say who took it off being that iam a returning customer with that i should be acomodated and my phone should be fixed at no charge to me because this is a faulty part in the phone.

But when i tell this to them they seem to think iam wrong and when i asked for my phone back sonce they refuse to fix it for free and do the right thing i spoke to 3 more people and 4 days later i still have not even recived and email with confirmation that my phone has been shipped back to me. So they wont fix my phone and they won't give it back to me so i pretty much at this point paid for a phone that does not work cause lg uses bootleg parts in there electronics and i dont have the phone back for some reason they are holding it hostage at this point i guess i.

The people that you call for customer service dont even work in the united states they have no clue whats going on and they all have the same answer literally the same answer i spoke to 7 people in one day and that was including supervisors and they all said the exact same words like as if they were reading out of a user manual they have no personality very dry and dull these people do not belong doing customer sevice. I dont know how this company is even still in business with there *** products and horrible customer service they need to close up shop and stop ripping people off

The LG Washer Dryer Combo has a design flaw where you can not access the lint inside the machine. Unit stops and does not dry your clothes. I've had service for the same problem 3 times since I've purchase the unit in 2014. The first time, 3 months after I purchased it. Now I'm at the mercy of the warranty company to service my machine! This is the 4th time with the same problem and Asurion is sending services techs that do not speak English and have no idea what the problem is!!! I've called LG and was told I was wasting my time calling them because there is nothing they will do to help me. NEVER BUY LG!

Lemon Washer

Did you ever resolve the issue? We bought the washer 7/15 and as of now have had it serviced 4 times and it's doing the same thing again. The weight inside the washer actually broke because the machine is always unbalanced. I'm so angry. I also have 3 kids and do tons of laundry and every time it breaks I have to take my clothes elsewhere until the repair person comes and usually has to order new parts from the last faulty ones. We splurged to get a working unit. They have sent me numerous cards to warranty their product after the year was up. Why? Because the washer is faulty. I've had washers last for many many years. I just don't understand.

LG Dishwasher LDF7551ST - Warranty Issue For starters, I have fixed this dishwasher at least 2 separate times myself. Recently, after 3 1/2 of ownership, the dishwasher would not even power on. With a multi meter, I was able to determine that the main control board was not powering up. The LG warranty indicates that the warranty covers the main control board for 5 years. We called LG and they said we have to get it verified by a technician and they gave us a local number to call. We scheduled the visit and they confirmed my findings, the main control board was bad. The company gave us a quote for $538.33 to fix the dishwasher, this included the $100 they charged us for just getting it looked at. We turned this down because we only wanted that control board, which takes 5 minutes to switch out. The company said they cannot order the board under warranty if they didn't install it. At this point, we contact LG again and gave them the information that the technician verified what was wrong and we wanted to get a replacement board. After 3-4 called and having it escalated to managers, they would not provided the board. The only thing LG's Customer Service would do is quote their policy that they would only provide replacement parts to technicians for warranty replacement. This policy is not in the warranty documentation and it does not state anywhere that you must pay a 3rd party company to fix their poor design and workmanship in order to utilize their warranty. Having to pay $538.33 to have a part replaced under warranty, is not a warranty and is false advertisement.

I have bought two of their dishwashers and they both suck! I bought a new one last summer and it has basically fallen apart within 6 months!

LG suck big time will not stand by their product

About 8 years ago, we bought an LG washer and dryer. Recently, the washer's motor went out.

It is under warranty for 10 years. We looked up on LG's website two authorized service companies. We called them and both had appointments that were 2 to 3 weeks out. We couldn't wait that long.

We called a company who could do the work within a day or two and they diagnosed the problem as the direct drive motor. They ordered the part from sears, a reputable parts distributor. They replaced the part and I paid them for the part, labor, and service call. Then I called LG to initiate a reimbursement for just the part.

I wasn't expecting to be reimbursed for the service or labor. They told me that I should have contacted LG when we found out that the service wait time was unreasonable and without doing that they would not reimburse me for the part. They said they couldn't guarantee that the part was from an authorized parts warehouse and the work done wasn't done by an authorized repair company. They expected for us to have read the warranty info in the paperwork received with the appliance.

I am not even sure we have anymore, note, it was purchased 8 years ago. I went the round with the supervisor and she was adamant they would not cover the part. I then told her that this was not a requirement when my fridge compressor went out and I had to call for service (a non authorized repair company). I just called a repair guy and he gave me the proper paper work and receipt for the work and I turned it over to LG and got reimbursed.

I told her that I didn't understand the hypocrisy. To cover one situation and not the other is ridiculous. Again, she said LG would not cover the part because we did not call them directly when there was a problem with getting an authorized service guy to do the work. I asked if I could get this supervisors car, I wanted to keep it for 3 weeks and by the way, it was up to her to figure out how to get to work and back without it.

I said, if she had to she would most likely call and get a rental if it was that important to get to work and back. Well, I said waiting for a washer to be repaired and wait for 3 weeks was unacceptable just like me keeping her car for that long and expecting to live without it. She said that I should have read the warranty information before contacting anyone. I believe at this point that they are finding any loophole in their warranty so they don't have to cover repair costs even in the most unusual situation.

I would think no one would wait 3 weeks to get a major appliance fixed. With the outright attitude of the supervisor and her not willing to even discuss a compromise, they are not worthy of anyone's business or loyalty. My suggestion is don't buy LG appliances. They will find any way to get out of paying for things they should rightfully cover.

So we have made a decision to buy non LG appliances from now on. GE, Samsung, Kenmore, here we come and we look forward to a better experience.

Purchased high end front load washer on 5/14. In a year and 2 month we needed our first repair. After another year and 7 months we needed Another repair. Customer service said the repair would be complimentary and when the Technician came he said he would only fix if I paid. Ridiculous but what are you going to do with a wife and 3 kids ??? So i paid and now it is making the same knocking noise and when I called of course they give you the same BS "well sir it is out of the warranty period...." I just want a washer that works ......that is why i purchased one of the more expensive washers. LG can see in the notes the issues I have had and they will not make it right..... They changed their customer service policies a year ago and that just happened to coincide with a huge profit last year. Well done LG. You suck. Scott Jones

Dears, I bought my LG G5 at September 2016 and it was Ok then suddenly on the 13th of April it turned off and didn't work again, when I went to LG Egypt support center at 5th settlement once they checked the phone they informed my that the board and processor are dead and needs to be changed or it wont work again which caused me losing all the data on the phone plus money needed to fix it !! Can you explain to me how come whithin 7 months ONLY my phone dies like that as you know of course it's not cheap at all and you are supposed to be a trustworthy company and I used to recommend you to everone I know!!! My phone serial number is 604KPZK043133 LG-860 I need an immediate solution as I'm not supposed to pay for it twice within this short time. I bought my mobile from Kuwait when i was in business trip, and i am in Egypt now, a LG customer service from Egypt called me, and told me they cant do anything, and i have return the mobile back to Kuwait , is that a reasonable, a global company have no global branded grantee. And support here in Egypt want me to pay almost 40% from the mobile cost to fix it, and that not my fault at all, it your device bad issue, i need a solution here the mobile didn't exceed one year working with me, with no scratch and it dead from it self with a faulty motherboard

They advertise quite, yes that's the only true statement, but when they don't run, it's not a problem about being quiet, only noise I hear is the wife thanking me for giving away out 15 year old General Electric that never had a service call, she wishes I had kept it instead of blowing 600.00, for trash that barely runs, 5 hrs to wash dishes, then have to rinse, rusty door interior, by the way did. I mention it is 6 mos old, and from first week I have been calling LG, they have scheduled 6 calls to people that call me, telling me they don't work on LG, because they don't pay, or they can't get parts, Gonna get bumper stickers made LG / Lousy Garbage

Pre-Ordered new LG Gg phone from sprint in april of this year. The promo was get a free google home and a free lg hd tv. I registered the phone for the free products with in a few days after receiving phone. The TV never came. was supposed to be delivered by no later than July 31. I have called Sprint, Lg, and the LG tv offer center. Only to get the run round from all! They say I didnt register, but I did! LG is a rip off and should stand behind their promotions!! It should be against the law to practice business this way. If this is not fixed, I will never buy LG again.
