I purchased an LG range, delivered on a Friday evening. Stainless finish very reflective -- did not see the dents until next morning in full sun. Called Monday (next working day). Rep says choice: $250 credit or new door. I take door. Rep says they have to find local technician - will call in 3-5 business days. Five days later, technician calls. Says LG refuses to honor the repair because it has been more than 7 days! Five of those days were spent waiting for LG to find the technician! What a joke! Love the range, but hate the service!

I wouldn't think LG would have anything to do with this. You should have contacted the retailer you purchased the unit through.

Lg Electronics review in Bloomington, Illinois: 2.5 Year Old Top Load Steam Washer motor blew up

In December 2011 I purchased a LG top load HE washing machine from Best Buy. On July 23rd it started throwing error codes and making horrendous noises. To say the least this was frustrating given the $1000.00 price tag on the washer and the fact that it is only 2.5 years old. We called LG for direction. They told us to just take it to a LG authorized repairer to see if it was a warranty item. I was VERY disappointed to learn that even if it was a warranty item the labor would not be covered. I completely understand wear and tear parts not being covered, but no coverage for labor on warranty work? That is beyond unacceptable. We took the washer the next morning to an approved repairer who quickly diagnosed the issue, let us know the labor estimate and indicated he was ordering the parts. He indicated he hoped to have it done early that same week. THEN we received a call indicating LG no longer ships parts overnight and it will take at least 4-5 days waiting for them to arrive by ground transport. It took TWO FULL weeks to get this done. I am truly disappointed to have a high end washing machine with a fatal malfunction at only 2.5 years after purchase and to be dealing with a company that not only does not make warranty issues right with respect to the labor, but adds further insult to injury by delaying the repairs. I filed TWO internet complaints through THEIR procedures to which I only received one form letter response saying "were sorry you are unhappy, call this number to talk to someone else about it" I called the number and spoke to 2 seperate people who ended up telling me, "sorry we are not going to reimburse any of the labor and are not going to do anything else for you. Yes, our product blew up and yes we know people expect large appliances to last, but they sometimes don't and we can't predict that"......exactly which is why they should stand behind warrenty issues and make the customer whole. Nope, not doing anything! I have no intention of ever purchasing another LG product and will make sure I share my story with those who are considering any purchases of the LG brand.

Lg Electronics review: My large fridge stopped working after one year!!

I'm pissed off of the customer support of LG in United Arab Emirates; they just leave you waste your time file complaints and they don't dare to action it ... I'm also pissed off of LG HQ because you can't get access to them, everytime they forward me to UAE who are useless ... I'm then disappointed of LG, who I used to praise over Samsung, but it seems I was mistaken! I'm eager to explore if this complaint will be replied back to, or is it better to make it more public on the social media eg. facebook, twitter, etc Rgds, Ihab

Lg Electronics review: One Year free Netflix with purchase of Smart TV

Not very Smart, I have been trying to obtain this promised promotion for 2 months now. It has been a nightmare. LG directs us to ACB Promotions and then we have to reverse direction. The web site first told us the promotion (based on serial number of the 2014 Smart TV) has already been issued. ???? TO WHO ??? Then we were told that the serial number of our TV was not part of the promotion. This is just not good buisness on LG's part. This was the 3rd LG large appliance we purchased this year and the last. The product is only as good as the customer service.

Plasma TV died after a year of use. Called tech support and they requested a copy of receipt by email with date of purchase. Submitted to their request and I was told that it wasn't enough and was denied warranty coverage. The receipts showed plain as day the date purchased and LG management still refused coverage. I asked to speak with a level 3 management and of course they were unavailable. Sick and tired of the run around from this company! Where else can I post complaints about LG????? I need to get the word out about *** products from this MFR.

Lg Electronics review in Runnemede, New Jersey: Does not cool off room and is too heavy to drain.

Purchased an LG portable Air Conditioner because my central air was not up to par. Big mistake! I am a single 57 year old women and it not very portable and is a pain to empty when the appliance states its full. I was advised by Home Depot to purchase a plastic hose to drain out the water, which I did but I still have to tilt the air conditioner and it does not drain into the bucket. It is about a 100 pounds and is easier to just put on a big towel. Will never purchase LG again.

Called the 1 800 number because my front load washer was leaking. I was asked for the model number and asked to touch the hoses. I located the model nunber which was located in tiny numbers on the inside of the door. I told her the hoses were dry. The service representive was rude and said she could not help me if I didn' t comply with her instructions. She accused me of not touching the hoses connected to the wall, then she asked me to touch the hoses attached to the washer. I told her I could not move the washer to get behind it. She said she could not help me if I did not comply. It was a frustrating experience. Will never buy any thing made by LG again.

HI Team please do forward this complaint to the relevant entity on my LG LED Smart TV. TVs 55LM6700 z1z1ngq4q519 delivered and installed on 07/30/2013. I had supported LG all my lifetime on its TV products, refrigerators and mobile phones etc... even today, my resident consists of 3 LG TV sets.However, since last sunday, 20July 2014, i have began to doubt its quality, see attached my latest purchase LED smart TV led has cracked internally suddenly while i am watching a movie!!! if I could know why that happened, I wouldnt have to request for LG service which service was rendered today afternoon. The serviceman did his job but also commented to me that the crack could have been caused by my room door!! I was then advised the led panel will cost approximately SGD2000++! Is LG encouraging consumers to dump their products and pay more for another to provide more sales to LG??? How can i accept this kind of presumption??? my TV console was created and the distance between the door and my TV was specially custom made, the TV is only purchased last year and it cost few thousand dollars! If anyone in LG can assure to me that the LED cracked is not caused by any technical fault, nor it is of LG's product quality issue? Do seriously look into my complaint, does it imply to me that LG provide good service only before the acceptance of goods but the after sales for accessories is extremely expensive even when the cause of the LED crack was not my fault!!! LG singapore will only assume and do not provide me with a favourable solution which I will require a higher personel to attend to my complaint. If no solution can be proposed for my complaint, I will not hesitate to discourage people I know to avoid LG products due to its unfavourable quality and aftersales service as to Samsung's. products.. LG has got to be the worst company to deal with ever. After buying a television that lasted only a few months, they allowed me to wait over a month to deal with two unsuccessful service calls before they decided I should return the unit. Once they receive it, then and only then will they send a check for the original price. So basically it's going to be at least two months before I have a set. Who is paying for the extended service contract? Not them. Who is valuing my time in having to be home for service calls, packing and waiting to ship the unit? Not LG. I will never buy another product from this company and will make sure their conduct is well known.

Purchased brand new LG 14,000 BTU portable AC unit unpacked and installed the same. Found that the remote control does not work. Called LG, they told me it would take 7 to 10 days before I would get a new remote. After 2 weeks of waiting for the remote, I get a call from customer service and was told that they didn’t have the correct serial number and they could not send a remote for free… I provided the correct serial number and again, I was told it would take 7 to 10 days. I asked to speak with a supervisor, and was told that they did not have supervisors available over the weekend, but one would call me back the following Monday. A week goes by and I decided to call and get an update on the remote and the call I was supposed to get. I was told that the order was never processed because I asked to speak with the manager and that they could not take requests to have managers call back. I asked for the order for the remote to be processed and again was told it would take 7 to 10 days before I would receive it. Once, the agent indicated that the order had been processed, I asked to have an email sent to me, she never did… I asked to speak with a manager she put me on hold and had to wait over 1 hour to then speak with a sarcastic individual who claimed to be a manager and basically told me that they were not obligated to send parts to me without billing me… I then asked to speak to his manager and was told that he didn’t have a manager he reports to the CEO of his area… I still have no idea if I will see a replacement remote. My interaction with LG so far has been the worst of any company I have ever purchased anything from!
