DISGRUNTAL LG CUSTOMER

In March 2016 I purchased a LG front loading washing machine, and dryer. The machine has been a complete disaster and has been serviced 4 times with parts replaced on the washer. The washer does not ring the water out of the clothes causing me to have to dry the clothes for hours, and sometimes the machine errors out and does not complete the load. I was told in order to return the product to Conns I would have to pay a restocking fee even though the machine was defective. The dryer with all its functions has been reduced to a quick dry option due to glitches in that machine as well. I was told by LG that I was entitled to a replacement, but after providing evidence of purchase they still refuse to replace the machine. I am still making payments on this over price machine that was sold as a super capacity machine and obviously is not. I am hurt and disappointed in the washer and dryer, in Conns, and LG which I thought were quality companies.

I bought an LG oven range, microwave, and refrigerator exactly 2 years ago and about 6 months ago the oven range went and cost me 500.00 to repair a faulty wire. Now two weeks ago the microwave stopped working. These are the WORST appliances I've ever owned. The factory warranty is one year and their is no one in my area that works in LG so I had to pay more for repairs. ONE year and things are breaking, REALLY????? LG is the worst!!!!!

I purchased this washer in August 2010. It had a recall in November 2013 to replace the motor. Now, SIX YEARS LATER, THE CLUTCH HAS GONE OUT AND WILL COST ME $600 TO REPAIR. I have decided to go with a new Whirlpool washer and dryer as LG products are junk! How they can sell such junk is beyond me. This set cost me $2000 in 2010. I have also purchased an LG Refrigerator (that the icemaker works some of the time), Stove and Microwave. I will NEVER purchase any LG product again and will tell everyone I know what junk they are making and selling. They should be ashamed and put out of business!

Lg warentee requirements are WAY OVER KILL and bat *** crazy non english speaking people take the call, then the sent my issue to an "investigator" to do an "investigation" - but what was there to investivate? When I called I said "I have a new phone I got a few weeks ago and today I woke up with a 2nd degree burn from the charger on my arm, so I need you to mail me a new charger please." the first woman asked for over a half hour where, when, and what was hurt! Well i just told you! Then over and over she asked if the phone burnt me, where the FIRE was, if I was burnt by the cord - all answered in my one sentence (and i worked in a few call centers so I know the job, so I get "showing empathy and restating the problem to check for understanding") but this is why I say there is a language issue since she said over and over "I am sorry your phone burnt you and I understand your frustration reguarding this issue, do you need a doctor?" How many times should I have to say "the phone is fine, i was burt by the charger, you know the part that plugs in? Also called a transformer." So after forever she repeated correctly and did whatever for the "investigation" and said after the issue was "investigated" I would get a call back in 24-48 hours. So I asked what exactly do you have to investigate sense you only have whatever you typed in the computer and nothing else but I have looked on the internet and there are many many complaints about this issue as well as the cord getting hot and even melting the charging port on the phone making it unable to be charged so it should be a known issue! At this point I am closer to 2 hours on the phone for a *** charger that cost how much to them? When I saw on their site they had one on sale for 10 bucks or so recently... But the call ended with her saying this is the procedure I have to follow this is all I can do and someone will call you back after the investigation. But I'm sure we all know there was no investigation as they didn't have the charger or anything else but the investigator called me back to see if I wanted to file suit 4 my injuries and if I went to the hospital and had medical bills and I said no I just need you to send me a new charger for the phone I got a few weeks ago. To which she replied this new person that called back anyway well in order to do that I need you to send the phone, cord, battery, charger, and back of the phone in for testing and then if we determine that you have a defective product and you are under warranty then we will determine if we will replace the charger. And I said so I am supposed to mail you my only phone so I have no way to speak to my doctor's for my disabled dad's doctors or make any kind of emergency phone call should either of us need that nor would my father be able to reach me should he need to do that and I am supposed to pay to ship the phone and for phone service without having a phone all over a charger that probably cost you next to nothing when I am a new customer with an injury is that I am happy to send you a picture of but I will not be without my phone when the problem is with the charger it is ridiculous to require that I send the entire phone with the exclusion of the SIM card over a *** charger. Then I was informed that they do not send anything out to anyone including shipping labels without receiving every single piece of the phone that was in the original box and they won't even say whether or not your warranty is valid before you deal with sending them all of the BS! So after two and a half days and hours telephone and of course the pain of a large first degree and small or 2nd degree burn they did zero to help anything and they were upset that I brought up had not woken up from being burnt that it could have very easily cause a fire I like I saw many pictures of online that burned up people's beds, carpeting through to the floor, car seats through to the floor well the springs, and many examples of burnt phones! They asked how that helps us now since it didn't happen and how I wanted to proceed - so I let them know that sense I had T-Mobile JUMP lease if I could just turn the phone back in and go with any other brand then that's what I was going to do so I did not require the address to which I was supposed to pay to ship and insure my phone since that alone would have been more than the charger! So I feel like not only do they have horrible service and they don't care about defective products that it would have been cheaper just in employee hours from the first person - to just mail me a charger! Especially since I was not saying they needed to pay medical bills, pain and suffering or anything excessive for a quarter sized second degree burn, even though the back of my arm was first degree burnt in a large area. It seems to me the burn was caused to be big due to having the charger in my bed so when my arm got hot I picked it up and moved it- over and over giving me the large first degree burn and then I was apparently in deeper sleep, so did not move again until had the second degree burn that woke me, but since I was sleeping I don't know that for sure. I only know logically that's what happened since it was the only in my bed that was hot. There are zero vent holes in the charger and it was shrink wrapped in thick plastic, but not over the prongs and its hard to see clear on white when the plastic ends on the product seams - removing it (when the edges crinkled up from the heat helped), but calling T-Mobile took 10 minutes they apologized for LG and my experience with them and they sent me a charger and waive the shipping charge so I would have it faster and they thanked me for my business it's ridiculous that the phone company is more willing to help with a product liability issue then the product maker!

Lg will charge you up front and then send a guy to tell you you machine is broke and needs parts. then says they will return in a week to do the job and not show up, and when you call lg to complain that no one showed up. and its your fault for not calling them sooner. And if you want to cancel your contract its 100.00. It's a sham!!!!! stay local and never buy LG again. Customer service sucks except when they try to upsell the repair options. Oh they are sweet and nice then. But when no one shows to do the job all you hear is that they can't help you, But you must pay upfront first and hope someday the repair man will show up, or just give up let them keep the 100.00 and find your own repair man.I wish I would have checked into LG's service rep before buying. Lesson learned NEVER AGAIN...

Very Poor LG Warrenty Service

I purchased a one-time extended warrant. They sent out someone who was not "Authorized" to replace parts just diagnose. Found out there was a recall, so LG sent out a different service company. They were not authorized to fix it beyond what the recall allowed. The extended warrant company that LG uses is called Assurant. They wanted to send back out the service company that wasn't authorized to repair parts. When I asked to speak with a supervisor, they had difficult connecting me. They will repeatedly keep you on hold forever, and hope you get frustrated and fix it yourself. I Will never buy LG products again.

Brand new LG fridge installed and motor is so loud, no one can sleep, even though the bedrooms are nowhere near the kitchen. Called LG and got rude, confusing and inadequate response even though the fridge was installed just the day before. 3 weeks later and still no help from LG. I spoke with 2 "supervisors" at LG, one who hung up on me and the other who gave me incorrect information about referral to a local repair company. I just discovered they gave me the incorrect phone number for the repair company and failed to send the paperwork to them. I think they just try to annoy their customers so they won't have to pay for repairs. Don't think you are saving money with LG products!!!! If they don't function and they don't provide adequate support, it's just a waste of money

i have a 55 inch smart tv that we bought in April 2016 we have had the mother board replaced in june 2016. with only to have to contact them again in aug for the tv that just not shuts off when ever it wants to. contacted them on aug 5 and they said that someone would come out and fix it well no one showed called LG back on aug 23 for them to send someone else to come out and fix it.... wellll AGAIN no one showed or called. when i called LG back on aug 27 to find out what was going on they said they where gonna replace it or give us the money that we paid for it back. contacted them today sept 14 to find out there is nothing they can do !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i call BS this tv has been down more than it has worked and for them to say we will fix it over and over and will not replace is BS i will never buy another LG tv again !!!! oh and the best part is that they are saying on aug 5 we refused serivce hahah yah okay good try and they where super rude to me and my husband im done

Absolutely terrible aftercare/warranty. Taking weeks to answer emails, lies on the phone about when repairs will be done. Manager refuses to speak to me. I have had the phone (LG G4) for seven months and it has spent 9 weeks in repair. I am disgusted with LG and although like the look of the G5 will certainly not be buying one or indeed anything else from this mockery of a company. The website informs us they have a large number of calls, I'm not surprised as it seems nothing is getting fixed and the list is getting longer because of unfit for purpose electrical items. Cheap Korean rubbish under a branded name !

Two LG French style refrigerators have failed in a year

May 21, 2015 my husband and I purchased the 32 cubic foot LFXS32726S LG French style refrigerator from HH Gregg. It was delivered a few days later and from the very beginning the ice maker never did work. An error Er message came up on the display within 24 hours of being plugged in. I called LG and was told it would needed to be repaired. An appointment was made. The repair company came out and said I needed a new ice maker. I don't understand why they didn't have the part with them since when I originally called them I told them that the ice maker didn't work. They said in was under warranty that had to wait on LG to send the parts. So after a wasted first trip to basically tell me that the ice maker needed to be replaced, it was a week later that they show up with the ice maker. The repair company installs it. The repairman cycles the ice machine after calling LG because the repairman had no clue how to cycle an ice machine. Ice machine still does not work after he cycles it. LG has the repairman test the refrigerator further and then tells him that it is not fixable. I am then put on the phone with corporate LG and he tells me he will have turn this in to another department where they will review my case. A few days later, I am then contacted by corporate LG and told we will receive a store credit for the amount we paid for the refrigerator. So we go back into HH Gregg on June 18th, 2015 and buy the LG LFXS30726S 30 cubic foot French style refrigerator. So my biggest complaint is the amount of time that it took for it to be resolved. It was almost a month before we received our new refrigerator. Fast forward to June 7th, 2016. My son tells when he pulls open the freezer drawer the refrigerator makes a horrible noise. I then hear a horrible noise coming from the fan and a few hours later the rF error message comes up the display. I called LG and they tell me that the fan is going out. They set up a repair appointment. I call the repair company the following morning to set up a time for them to come out. After talking to the repair company and discussing my previous problems I had already had with LG we determine that fan is probably going out because the refrigerator is not cooling properly. I then go to try use the water and ice dispenser. It does not work either. I unplug the refrigerator and clear the error message the ice maker and water dispenser work. He believes there might be more than just the fan so he orders a new circuit board and a fan. They are supposed to be here on June 15th, 2016. I have already cleaned the refrigerator out and moved everything to our downstairs refrigerator. Looking back I wish we would have used the store credit from HH Gregg and bought a different brand. We figured it was just bad luck and that we would be fine with another LG refrigerator. Boy, were we wrong!! I think it is unacceptable that we are now without a refrigerator again twice within a year. Is it bad luck again or is LG refrigerators just junk? I totally believe their refrigerators are poorly designed and built with cheap parts! I will never buy anything LG again and will tell everyone I know through social media!

I am a LG Technician and have been working for LG for 8 years and I'm so sorry about what you went through , your issue could have been so easy to resolve , the reason you were getting ER F code was due to grille fan assmy needed to be replaced with our update part also the software on main board needed to be updated , there is a service built. on that issue that who ever the tech was that went there should have read, again sorry about your bad taste with LG , I'm sure I feel the same

My question is about the update part, you referred to as the grill fan assembly, are existing LG refrigerator owners being contacted that this update part needs to be replaced?

Or is it only when there is a problem? How can I be better informed when there is an issue or software update for my LG refrigerator?

Ok well not all of them do it but yes some have it replaced , and you can go on LG web site and enter the model number and pull up any service updates, or if that don't work call customer service and ask them if there are any updates on the model you have or you can respond to me with that info and I will let you know

We have used several LG products over the years and some have been great and are still in use. However some were junk and when you need customer service it's like renting an *** you are going to get screwed. Afew years back we purchased an LG referg over 2000.00 on sale with 5 year warranty. # times an motor went and we were told it was an defect and the problem was corrected with the 3 rd motor. It was untill an few months after the 5 year went so did the unit same problem.What about the lemon law the only lemon with this company is the sour taste in your mouth. Both 2 LG-G5 phones in May Verizon with an rebate from LG for 2 battery's and craddles. Called the LG rebate office sorry it ended last night. Last night bought an 200.00 microwave tryed to register my warranty website doesn't work called customer service she said i had to e-mail another dept. Ask for an supervisor they'll tell u the same thing on hold for 35 minutes hung up. Called Corp what an not so funny joke. Why do i continue to buy LG have you been shopping lately USA makes no products stores carry.We all need to come together and direct our anger at the stores that sell LG products and refuse to shop with them if they do not stop selling LG products or honor the warrantys and deal with LG them selfs. We are being lied to robbed and our money is even leaving our Nation while US citizens are jobless

Their products break down and they refuse to fix them even under warranty. I've been trying for 4 months to get an AC that was less than 1 year old and only used for 2 months fixed. This company is a joke. I gave them everything they asked for - here's the new catch: your receipt from Walmart doesn't have the model number on it so we can't replace it. This B.S. after 4 months of customer service (NOT!) and 5 case numbers. The repair place they sent me to won't fix the unit and now LG won't replace it. I've never had such a RIDICULOUS experience in my entire life.
