LG Stainless Steel French door refrigerator | Lg Electronics review from Newark, New Jersey

I bought an LG French door stainless steel refrigerator 4 months ago and it has needed 4 repairs since I purchased it. I called again because the ice maker does not work and the water indicator is wearing out. The repair person said that was a cosmetic and is not under warranty. I called LG and was told the same thing and they refuse to replace the part. This is not cosmetic, it is a functional part that has a display to show what to press. PLEASE DO NOT BUT LG appliances, I should have researched more and I would have seen similar posts about their POOR products. Still waiting for the replacement ice maker.

LG range oven and broiler stopped working | Lg Electronics review from Toronto, Ontario

our range stopped working after using the self-cleaning feature the bottom of the oven is scratched and lots of fine lines the manual says that the fine lines will not affect the performance, sorry but it stopped working. the range is only 4yrs old. The self-cleaning used only twice. Tried to get assistance from GL customer service and the person on the phone was very rude. The person spoke very fast and did not wait for me to find the information on my range. The person also kept talking while I was talking. My range stopped working.Thanks

bought a cell phone from them last april lg optimus what a piece of *** traded it for a refurb now i have a 200 dollar paperweight refuse to do anything about it everyone or anyone lets get a class action lawsuit against them for all their crummy products anyone who knows a lawyer or if a lawyer reads this please help us consumers out in the meantime get the word out to everyone boycott lg do not buy anything from them period remember when things were made in america and we stood behind our products well lg is from korea and they could care less what they sell you

I wish I had read this before I bought an LG washer. Same experience here.

I call weekly to get a resolution.

I am with the Executive Relations group and they have never once called me back.

The repair man came out 3 times and cannot fix the issue and they are trying to find another warranty repair person but no one wants to come out. The issue with our machine is that the bleach dispenser does not dump when it is supposed to so it ruins our dark clothes.

I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING EVER FROM LG.

LG never honored anything. I called them and they gave us a number to a repair company that did not have the part in stock.

So we had to resort to fixing a $1000.00 washer that was only 4 years old and pay $434.00 to have it fixed. As I said I will never buy another LG...

I paid lots of money for what I thought was top of the line. It wasnt even 2 years old when the dishwasher quit working.

It wouldnt turn on! I called them & they gave me their repairman's number. I called. It would be $150 for the guy to just drive to our house, then and additional $150-175 for labor.

What a joke. Never again will I buy LG.

I bought a LG refrigerator in March, 2011. Now it is time to replace the water filter, but only LG sells it. If you need your filter replaced it will cost you $78 plus $10 shipping!! The old filters cost between $50 & $60 and I found it where I bought my appliance so I did not have to pay for shipping. When I called customer service they were of absolute no use & very, very unhelpful. They just wanted to pass me to their parts department as quickly as possible so they did not have to deal with an upset customer. BAD, BAD, BAD policy. Run away from this company!

LG customer service is horrible. I have a dryer that isn't six months old and it stopped working.

Auth repair center blew off appt today and LG just gives me another center to call. They need to take the bull by the horns and associate with only superior service centers. Keep this *** up and you will be out of business. Just think how many people I will tell of this horrible experience.

You should have offered to expedite another service call tomorrow and you should have called me not made me do the legwork. Welcome to 2012!!!!

Get with it. :sigh :(

They will leave it at your front door if they deem it's safe. BUT not to ring your bell! I would definitely make a call and complain and let them know your front door is not a safe place to leave a package in your neighborhood.

I bought an LG dishwasher in June and it never did work properly. It does not get my dishes clean. In fact, there is a white film left on my dishes. This same film shows up on the stainless steel interior of the dishwasher. Gross! After having a tech look at it twice, and telling me to use different soap, pot scrubber cycle, etc, I gave up and told them I wanted to return it. Well, they told me they could not take it back because there was nothing wrong with it. Thank goodness for the Home Depot, because they have now taken the dishwasher back and refunded my purchase price. I will never buy an LG product again.

NOT IMPRESSED WITH LG!!!! We have an Lg dishwasher, or maybe I should say HAD. A glass broke in the dishwasher (who hasn't had that happen). We thought we had gotten all the pieces, but about a week later, we had mold on the clean dishes. GROSS!!! We called the authorized repairman in our area... over a month ago. They thought it would be the keypad, and ordered the new part. Two weeks later, it arrived, they put it in, and left. We did one load, and the water wouldn't drain out of the bottom. So, we called our repairman again. It has been three weeks this time, and we are STILL waiting! Needless to say, this will be our last LG product!

I bought a LG stainless steel, double door refrigerator 5 years ago from best buy for $1,700.00. The refigerator is so badly made that all the drawers and plastic parts on the refrigerator is breaking. I am single so there is low traffic as far as usage is concern. During the warranty period, I had to call for repair twice. Now that I don't have a warranty, the plactic door latch broke. $185.00 plus $85.00 service call for repair. I dare not try to fix broken drawers and cracks. My sister bought the same, same thing.

I purchased 2 smart phones from LG officially website,and i decided to return the phones back after i read so many complaints,the boxes are still sealed with the phones in and LG playing hard ball with me to give me the authorization return RMA number they keep play me from one departament to another until my 14 days warranty will be avoided.
