My husband and I have brought a LG 3D TV from hhgregg on 8/6/2011 on sunday 8/20/2011 while we were watching the TV it cut off. The TV until this day would not come back on. We are still in our 30 day buying period and they refuse to pick it up and exchange it without charging us a 80 dollars. A week before we brought a AC unit and we have a hhgregg credit card. They could have just waive the fee and pick up the TV because were going to be returning costumers. Hhgregg does not care about the costumer.

Lg Electronics in Dayton, Ohio - Don't waste your money on an LG product

Since I have had almost LG appliances, I decided that people need to know what a horrible idea it is to buy this brand. Right after the one year warranty was up, I had to have my washer serviced at a tune of $200. Before the 3 year mark, I found out that the dryer had a cracked drum and it would just be better to buy a new one. The repair person really didn't have positive things to say about LG. I went shopping for a new dryer thinking I would be able to replace it. I had the full size stackable. But guess what? They make sure the newest model doesn't stack on an old washer and of course they don't have the old model and have nothing to make it work. So I ended up having to order a new washer and dryer. Believe me it wasn't an LG either. Now, at 4 years the ice tray along with the shelf in my freezer has broken. The repair person said it can't really be fixed. They made the thing so cheaply. So $2000 for a refrigerator/freezer does not mean it is of any quality. I will be glad when I am able to replace all my LG products with something different. The only scary thing is I am not sure if there is another product out there making the same thing under a different name.

We purcashed your 5 yr extended warranty when we bought our $2300 in July 2010. This worked fine up until March 9,2011 when we had to have the ice flap and the two motors in the ice compartment replaced, worked fine until Aug.5,2011. When once again it is sounding like an airplane taking off when it kicks in. And ER F1 shows on the display panel. We have replaced the filter three times in the last year!!!! So I call the LG Co. they tell me to call my place where it was purchased, I do, they tell me I need to call the you.I do, you say I need ed to change the filter,I had just changed it a month before, so they tell me to unplug the unit,let it set 4 hrs, we let it set for 8 hrs! Plug it back in,worked fine for a few, went off, unplug again let it set w/the door opened. Plug it back in the next day, went off again an hour later.so I call back and they said that they would call the service and get an appt set up, u call back on the 8th of Aug. and said my appt was set up a week and a half later on the 15th of Aug. Not being happy about it taking so long, we handled it. So today AUGUST 15,2011 at 958 a.m. I called the A&E Service Center to cancell the appointment. Why u ask, well becaause my fridge had worked for the past week and a half, why have them come all the way out here. BUT---AT approx. 2:15 p.m. I went to get ice and GUESS WHAT!!!!!!!!!!It did not work!!!!!!! So I call the service center back,they tell me I needed to call u back and reschedule, I did that at 2:20 p.m. I called you. And whoever I talked to they said my appt was still scheduled for Tuesday 8/5/2011 between 8&5 p.m. and they would connect me to them right then but We had a doctor appt. we needed to get to. It was an hour and a half drive. I told him that I would call the service company back as soon as I get home. I calld them back they and tell me my appt. was concelled and that I needed to call u and u were to call them to set up an appt. BUT I was told all I needed to do was give them my service agreement number to get it done, I did just that, so I call u at 6:15 p.m. and I get please wait and the next available agent was be with u shortly. I waited 45 min on hold with that message coming on and off. I then goi to the computer and find out that u close at 5 p.m. Why in the world have that darn message on if u r closed??????? People use their cell phones alot now days for their calls and u just use up their minutes! I am getting the run around on getting my Brand New Fridge fixed and I am sick of it. We work hard for our money just as u do and can not afford to just go out and spend $2300 on an item and have it go out in 13 months and not be able to get help when we need it. This needs to get fixed and done now, or it will be turned over to the BBB and posted. I am at my wits end with this!!

Lg Electronics in Elmont, New York - LG NOT paying my Rebate amount

I purchased two bluetooth headsets(SGBS0005501 HBM-235) early this year and send them the rebate form with the UPC code. LG Rebate sent me a mail asking for a copy of the receipt. I sent them the receipt with a copy of my old rebate form. I called LG rebate numerous times, but they kept on asking for information they already have. Finally, they said it usually takes time to process.After months I have not received the rebate amount.Now when I called them, they said they have all the required information but they can not process the rebate as the promotion time is over. They said the only thing I can do is call LG corporate. I called them as well, they said they are a different department and have nothing to do with Rebates.

send a letter to your consumer fraud department at your state's attorney general's office stating the facts and copy LG corporate.

Lg Electronics in Minot, North Dakota - LG Worst company ever!

LG is the worst company ever. There appliances suck and they refuse to do anything about it. I have a dishwasher that is only 1 year old and it stopped working 3 months in! They have sent out repairmen who have replaced the sump assembly 3 times and it still doesn't work. They refuse to replace it, even though they said themselves if the same part is replaced 3 times then it can be replaced... UGH. I will NEVER deal with this company EVER again! I recommend you don't either! We need to put them out of business!

stove we have at home is LG and OMG what a bunch of moronic *** work there. all we want is them to order the freaking part for our stove so we can have a tech guy install it for us....they kept refering us from one phone # to another and telling us to call this person and that person...but the people/companies we call tell us they cannot order the Lg piece, because it is exclusive to Lg and only them can order it...............bottom line is...cannot wait for this *** brand to be out of the market once and for all and for this company to go out of business ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

LG sells *** appliances AND their service is HORRIBLE!!!!! We have had a tech out several times to fix our new dishwasher because it was leaking on our hardwood floors and it was not washing/rinsing the dishes. My old "cheap" Whirlpool dishwasher did a better job cleaning than LG! The tech ended up replacing the front dishwasher door and the motor. The tech also gave horrible service! When I asked him if he was finished fixing the dishwasher he said, "Well, would I be doing this if I wasn't done?" What the heck kind of service is that????? AND when we continued to have services with our appliance afterwards...AFTER I complained about his horrible service....LG sent him back to our house!!!! NOW we continue to have problems with our dishwasher. We bought our appliances 4 years ago and have had problems since the first year. A few days after our one year warranty expired on our stove, a burner on our glass top stove had to be replaced because it "burned out." Yesterday, I ran the self clean on the oven and now nothing is working...the stove and the oven. LG is now telling us that it is not covered under warranty. Why is it that we have to pay to have our appliances fixed because of poor craftsmanship???? We already dished out a lot of money when we first purchased it! We will never buy LG again and I will tell everyone I know never to purchase it either. Apparently we aren't the only ones having problems! LG, get your *** together and offer better service and better appliances!!!!!!!

LG washers hold water between washes and the water sours.Smell your clothes !! Leave the door open 24/7 so it can dry out some. Oh-the dishwasher. Pure trash. One year and one day it *** out but they gave us a new one--after I raised living ***. It still did not clean the dishes. I had a new LG refrig and the ice maker continually froze over, It was worked over several times under warranty THEN I bought a new ice maker. It still did not work like it should.I could have taken it when I sold my house. You guessed it-- I left it there--no more LG anything for me !!!!!!!

I purchased the extended warranty on my 42" flat panel TV. The sound and on/off will not respond to either the TV or Satelite remote. I've had a technician out 3 times over two years and it's still not fixed. Had to resubmit the latest claim to try to get it fixed. Now ITI (LG contractor) assigned the claim to some local repair guy. ITI says he has the part to fix it but he won't respond to my voice mails and apparently not to ITI either. It's been over a month since the last claim was submitted and I can't get LG, ITI or the repair guy to call me back!

Lg Electronics in Boston, Massachusetts - LG TV class action

LG got sued in New Jersey in the Federal District court for selling defective TVs last week. Maybe people who purchased their TVs can get a little justice. My understanding is that LG TVs had a series of issues with electrical components in their LCD and Plasma TVs causing premature failures. These TV manufacturers fail to inform purchasers that the new flat screen technology won't last 10 or 15 years without replacing expensive boards. Who in their right mind would spend 2 or 3 thousand dollars for a TV that only lasts for 3 or 4 years before requiring expensive repairs?

Purchased LG 55 LED TV 2 months ago. Called 3.4 for customer service, got someone in the Philippines that was difficult to understand.

He told me that the TV was scheduled for repair the following day. Called the service center and they had no record of call. They then scheduled me for the following Thurs. That morning they called and said the part was not received from LG.

Next scheduled appt. would be 5 days later. LG did not overnight these parts to the service center as anyone with brains would do. All parts are made in KOREA!

If I would have read this site, I would have never purchased this TV that went bad in less time than Kim K was married. I will advise everyone on all social media not to purchase ANY LG products.

Where do they get off with "Life's Good". Don't they understand the meaning of that phrase?

Hey, I have had TWO LG failures that happened just past their warranty period. I flushed about $2500 down the toilet by purchasing these two pieces of *** TVs.

LG service is of no help. I talked with four of them, up the chain of command, that basically said "too bad, it's your problem." First one was a 42 inch LCD which we had repaired at the cost %500 and it lasted 6 more months then died again, so evidently the replacement part was one of the defective ones too.. It went to the trash. The second one (Current one) is 55-inch was we paid $1300 discounted price 15 months ago and now it is a big black hole in the wall.

I'll will NOT pay to have it repaired. I am just telling my experience on as many websites as I can until LG does something about this. Hopefully this will help some other families from wasting their hard-earned money on defective high-priced LG trash TVs. LG stinks.

They should be made to make this right for all the consumers affected. Dishonest, shady company.
