I bought an LG appliance and within 6-7 months the freezer *** out. I then submitted the claim on the LSC27921ST on their online website which claimed I would get a call in 2-3 days. 5 days later I called and there was no record of my claim. I then waited another 8 days and the repair tech has yet to show their face and I took the day off. Called the customer disservice dept and they were clueless as they could not offer any other solution. I asked that they send someone else who could make it and they said well I don't think that was possible...as my food is spoiling in the stainless steel box of ***. Never buy LG.

I purchased an LG Vacuum a few months ago. The belt snapped a month after. Searched everywhere to purchase one. No where to be found. Called costumer service and two weeks later ..... no belt. Suprise, suprise, nothing can do about it they said. Highly NOT recmomended to purchase an LG vacuum unless you want to pay too much and be stuck with a POS. unhappy!!!!!!! LG is a company who does NOT back up their products and do NOT care about the customers who purchase their products!!!! If you call to complain, all they do is say "sorry.. nothing we can do about it". REALLY!!!!! their is something you can do about it..... BUY YOUR PIECE OF *** BACK OFF ME SO THAT I CAN BUT A DYSON!!!!

I purchased an LB refrgerator, stove, and dishwasher on 12/31/2008. I was supposed to get a rebate of $350.00. I have been waiting for a rebate since February 2009. They originally denied the rebate because they would not accept the receipt that Grant appliances in Downers Grove gave me. I have gotten the run around from both LG and Grant Appliances which is where the appliances were purchased. Can anyone help? The Customer services representative has spoken with the area rep and still no rebate. We have spoken and emailed since September 2009 and still no check.

I own a LG front load washer. I called twice and had a LG technician out to fix it from walking across the floor. He was out twice within 6 months of purchasing and releveled it both times. Within the 2nd load it is unlevel and walking across the floor. I have gone so far as to video the spin cycle. Now LG states I waited too long to report it for the 3rd time and I'm out of luck! Horrible customer service!!!!!!!! I've had to fax back their (LG's) service records to them on 3 different occasions and wait 48hrs for it to be downloaded into their computers because LG doesn't even have record that they have been to my house! Through all of this they told me i was out of the manufacturers warranty, when in fact their dcumentaion shows they were at my house twice for the same cause and didn't fix it. Buyers beware, they do not stand behind there product. I even went out and bought rubber vibration pads to calm down the spin cycle. It just falls off of the pads and sends a vibration though the entire house.

LG Refrig. broke twice in 6 months for the same problem they won't replace it and I have to pay the extended warrenty. You will get no-were with them. I wrote to the office and they were sorry about my dryer this is really scary, consumers are nothing to them but a source of taking your money & running... I've never in 40 years had a problem with my Sears appliances. Never buy LG products LG stands for Life is Great but then your blood pressure goes up so high you could die from the way your treated, what a joke. Consumer affairs is next on my list, lets see what they can do with a bad business company.If anyone wants a new Refrigerator I will have one it will be outside if this repair doesn't work.

The rebate claim form says within 60 days you should receive check. Its been 4 months since I submitted my claim forms and each month when i call up the customer care, the person says by the end of this month the checks would be mailed. On top of that they misspelled my name, and I requested them to correct my name before sending me the check. But they bluntly told nothing can be done now and i would have to call them again once i get the check and if turns out invalid. Which would mean once I receive the checks(after eternal wait) I have to send them back and have to wait for 4 more months to get a new one...

This comment is about LG's poor customer service and the unprofessional attitude of their management. We recently purchased a new LG stainless steel french door refrigerator, model LFX28978ST. We found our best deal at Home Depot and they delivered it promptly. It came well packed with blue plastic covering all of the stainless surfaces for protection. We inspected the unit to make sure it was in good shape, but left the plastic in place. We had to complete installing our new kitchen floor before installing our new LG, so we had the delivery folks set the unit out of the traffic pattern where it remained untouched for 9 days. Once the flooring was finished, we installed the refrigerator into a custom cabinet where it fit perfectly. Once in place and connected to water and power, we removed the plastic on the doors as it cooled down so we could start putting things into it. It was after removing the plastic that we noticed a slight but very sharp diagonal dent about 8 inches long on the lower freezer drawer. Since we watched the unpacking and moving of the unit into our home the week before, this dent clearly occurred at the factory. We immediately called Home Depot, and they asked that we call LG since the unit is new. We called LG, and to make a long story short, they said they would not do anything. Their position was that we have only 7 days (this was day 9) to report any damage. There is nothing on any paperwork that says this, but they said that this is their policy. We asked to speak with a manager, who said the same thing and added "let the buyer beware." This conversation lasted probably 15 minutes, but to no avail. We then contacted Home Depot again, and they said they would take care of it for us. Home Depot is great! In fact, they were willing to replace the entire refrigerator. Since it was already installed, we agreed it would be far easier just to replace the drawer front. So, the manager of the appliance department came to our home personally with a replacement drawer front and replaced it for us. While the story ends well and the refrigerator has been in use for several weeks now and we love it, had we known that LG was the kind of company that has no interest in customer service and their management has the guts to say "let the buyer beware" instead of resolving a problem, we would probably have purchased another brand. For those of you thinking about LG, think twice. And if you do purchase one, you may want to think about a warranty from an independent company, as you may otherwise have to experience LG's lack of customer service!

I've bounght the LG bluetooth on the end of DEC,2010(Part#SGBS0005501 HBM-235) on Meriteline.com, then i sent the rebate($20.00)out on JAN,5th 2011.it's been for awhile i checked the rebate on abcpromotion.com with the rebate status: Date submitted 2/2/2011 Last modified date:2/3/2011 Current status: Approved Current Status: Your rebate has been approved and submitted for fulfillment. Please allow up to 60 days to fulfill your claim. Since there i've checked the rebate by phone#901-348-9667(on 3/21/2011). they've told me your rebate needs 60 days to process the check to send out. On 4/3/2011 i've sent the email to email@example.com (has been provided by abcpromotion.com/contact information)then they ask me call customer helpdesk#901-348-9667 and the lady told me it needs tobe 10 weeks to process,then i sent the email to question about the policy has changed(10 weeks) but they said the check will be processing to send to my home address shortly but until now i didn't receive anything yet????? I don't know this is a scam or not??? .....from the they they accepted it until now was 2 months and 6 days

Purchased new at the end of Aug 2010, this dishwasher has been terrible practically from the beginning. From the shoddy install (thanks to Home Depot) until this day, it's been nothing but a problem. - The machine hasn't cleaned properly in months, leaving us to hand wash dishes b/c they come out dirtier than when they went in (and we rinse WELL prior to loading the racks in accordance with the instructions in the manual). It's been out of commission more than it's been in working order, with 3 repair calls since November: - We've spent almost 6 weeks waiting on parts and repairs the first time. We called 5 different places, all given to us by LG as contracted repair companies, and NONE would work on their product. I was told that they either couldn't get the parts, or they couldn't get timely payment from LG. - We spent 4 weeks waiting on their contracted warranty co, who stood me up TWICE leaving me to wait all day only for them not to show up to fix it the second time; and when they finally did replace the pump, they didn't replace a clip leaving it to fall out from under the countertop when the door was opened. Unfortunately, I didn't find this out until the next day when I went to use the machine; AND, the machine still doesn't clean any better than when we started the repair process. - And a week after the last repair, the entire control panel went dead. I spent 2 weeks waiting on a scheduled repair from the second repair co who didn't return calls, only to have to demand a new warranty company from LG. Another week passed before the newest company came out to repair it. They had to order a part last week and told me they'd probably have it by Wednesday to install and then we could "see" what else is wrong b/c the part may not even solve the problem. Well, the part is backordered from LG and NO ONE knows when it will be in. Somewhere between 5 and 10 business days and months. (I'm not joking about that either!) And the kicker is that they didn't even feel it was necessary to let me know that it was backordered. I only found out b/c I called to find out what was going on. So much for customer service. - And, now LG is blaming the repair company saying they didn't order their part in a timely manner; the repair company is blaming LG... and I'm stuck in the middle. LG refused to replace this brand new, expensive lemon of a dishwasher until THEIR repair company says that it can't be fixed. I'm the first to tout a company for doing something right, and usually I hesitate to complain until I utilize every possible source to find resolution. With that said, this has gone too, too far. I don't think it's too much to ask to have a $700 dishwasher work for more than 2 months. All I want is a new dishwasher that actually works!

I have fought with LG for over a month to get them to stand behind their purported high-quality product image to no avail. I just installed a pair of LG laundry appliances the beginning of March 2011, and the dryer has not worked from Day One. Unfortunately, and what LG uses as their excuse for not standing behind their warranty, I purchased these units over a year ago and simply did not install them until now. Based on date of purchase only, they refuse to provide any service. The dryer is "dead." Thank goodness I used a credit card for the purchase which offers a "double manufacturer's warranty," so I now have to go through the hassle of getting reimbursed for the cost of the service call and repair instead of LG accepting responsibility for an obviously defective dryer. I will NEVER purchase LG appliances again.....ever, ever, ever.
