Due to my field of work, I deal with lots of lots of electronics companies. This includes dealing with their warranty support. Some of better than others, but LG RANKS AT THE BOTTOM with some of the worst. Considering how big this company is, I find it baffling. LGs make good value and even cutting-edge-prodcuts products, just pray to the gods you wont need to use your warranty.

Now this hit me at a personal level: I got an abnormally noisy brand new inverter split AC unit. After 3 months, countless hours dealing with them on the phone and their service provider, 3 onsite repair visits, the issue is still unresolved and they are reluctanct to replace the unit.

It is impossible to effectively escalate the issue to someone who can make a decision.

You can find haters of every brand out there, but in this particular electronics line of business, go for Panasonic, Samsung or even cheaper brands who boast generally speaking better warranty service.
