"they" as in LG customer service/ executive support department. We saw/got it from RC Willey.

We saw this refrigerator on the flood and we made sure it was one we wanted before purchasing it. On the flood the dents and ripples were not on the refrigerator. And it's pretty common sense that a new $2000 refrigerator shouldn't have that kinda damage on it. The LG representatives said that this is how they make them at the LG refrigerator factory or wherever they are made.

I have been trying to deal with this issue for almost a year. Im seriously running out of options because LG will not do anything for me even tho I have warranty still.

They said they don't return/exchange cosmetic issues even tho this issue was caused by them and their factory. Im so irritated with having spent so much money on a new refrigerator and them sending me a defective product and not taking any reasonability for it.

I can definitely understand your frustration with having a refrigerator, that’s under a year old, stop working. Having multiple failed repairs and being without a refrigerator for a month is concerning to hear.

I am like most others who purchased the bundle of appliances from LG. I am still waiting on the REBATE. They make us jump through hoops to get the rebate we are offered. Most of the time it is one of the selling points of the purchase then they get to choose how long we wait for the rebate. The rebate center employees offer little assurance as to when and if the rebates will be mailed. They are also RUDE but this may be because they have to answer thousands of times a day with the same response that your rebate has been received but has not been released by the credit card company for payment. I do think it is strange that they will not give you the name of the company issuing the rebate cards...if it were me not only would I give callers the name I would transfer them directly to the president of the company if I suspected they were doing consumers wrong.

LG REFRIDGE $2500 FRENCH DOOR QUIT COOLING AT 3.5 YEARS. THEN WITHIN 6 MONTHS OF THAT IT QUIT AGAIN. LG OFFERS NO SUPPORT, NO SERVICE AND BASICALLY STATES THEIR IMPLIED WARRANTY IS ONLY FOR PARTS NOT LABER WHICH I PAID A SERVICE TECHNICIAN THAT STATED HE WOULD NOT DO THEIR WARRANTY WORK BUT WOULD SERVICE IF WE PAID HIM DIRECTLY. LABOR EXPECTED TO BE $400 AND LG SAYS THAT THIS IS IN THE WARRANTY. YES IT IS WRITTEN IN THEIR BOOK ONCE YOU GET THE PRODUCT HOME BUT RETAILERS SHOULD BE REQUIRED TO HAVE YOU SIGN A WRITTEN COPY INDICATING YOU READ SUCH A THING. IT IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. DO NOT BUY ANY LG PRODUCT READ THE WARRANTY. THERE IS NOTHING BEYOND 12 YEARS WITH EXCEPTION OF PARTS ON SEALED SYSTEM AND COMPRESSOR BUT THEY DON'T INFORM YOU OF THIS AT TIME OF PURCHASE AND THAT THESE SYSTEMS COST MANY HOURS OF LABOR TO FIX. MY LOCAL TECHNICIANS AT THREE SEPARATE BUSINESSES REFUSE TO WORK ON THEIR PRODUCTS WHETHER WARRANTY WORK OR NOT. SAY PARTS TOO HARD TO GET AND THEY DON'T GET PAID FOR THEIR WORK. THEY DON'T OFFER THEM SUPPORT SO MANY HAVE DROPPED THEIR PRODUCTS AND DON'T DO THEIR SERVICE WORK.
