My 5 month old monitor started displaying interlaced lines on one side. What should be a simple procedure to arrange a pick up, repair and return of the product has so far turned into a month long email ordeal.

They are asking for ridiculous information, that has no relevance to the repair. I work for microsoft and when an xbox needs servicing it is a straight forward affair.

It is not like LG are short of money and certainly not like I am trying to get something off them that I do not deserve, I simply want the monitor I paid for to be fixed. So far it is probably the worst customer service I have encountered.
