Lg Electronics in San Diego, California - Refrigerator

My refrigerator went out a week ago. Called LG and they sent out a technician who would not repair it because there was an infestation, which was actually dust and dog kibble. Second appointment the technician never showed up and never called. I have spent hours on the phone with LG service center. Most of that time has been on hold. Asked to speak to a supervisor and have been on hold ever since.

Lg Electronics in Elk Grove, California - Life is MUCH MUCH WORSE with LG

A defective refrigerator that has problem with condensation and moisture that LG tried to fix 6 times in 4 weeks. After the 6 failures they still insisted coming back for the 7th time and refused to give a replacement. Customer Service lied about qualifying for a replacement after 3 failed repair. Repair person lied about making recommendation for a replacement if his 5th attempt *** not work. Repair person lied about filing a replacement claim on his 6th visit. They don't care when wife got sick due to the food inside the fridge, don't care about people taking 6 days off due to their defective refrigerator and incompetent repair service. 1st repair was done by a local shop that LG contacted. He claimed that the gasket is good and adjusted the left side of the fridge 1/2" higher than the right side. 2nd repair was done by LG tech who claimed the gasket is bad and readjusted the height back to original. 3rd repair was done by LG by replacing the gasket, and immediately know that wasn't it and order new rollers and door. 4th repair was done by LG by applying heat to the gasket, put in new rollers and claim door is ok. 5th repair was done by LG by applying heat to gasket and tilt fridge backward. 6th repair was done by LG by applying heat to gasket and reorder door. Six failed repairs in a little over 4 weeks. Six days off due to LG keep insisting no replacement until the repair person certify that as un-repairable. Customer Service lied and lied, promised to call back and never did. Repair person tried fixing it by trial and error. They won't tell you when my horror story going to end. I will NEVER EVER buy another LG. If a foreign company do not think enough of us American. I don't need them. Life was good WITHOUT LG. This Saturday will be their 7th visit in 5 weeks! Who would buy LG with this kind of SERVICE and ATTITUDE. My 20 years old fridge that cost less than $400 is still kicking in my garage. I guess the reputation of LG is worth less than the $1600 LG fridge that I wasted on this worthless company. This defective fridge is less than 1 year old.

Brand new LG fridge installed and motor is so loud, no one can sleep, even though the bedrooms are nowhere near the kitchen. Called LG and got rude, confusing and inadequate response even though the fridge was installed just the day before. 3 weeks later and still no help from LG. I spoke with 2 "supervisors" at LG, one who hung up on me and the other who gave me incorrect information about referral to a local repair company. I just discovered they gave me the incorrect phone number for the repair company and failed to send the paperwork to them. I think they just try to annoy their customers so they won't have to pay for repairs. Don't think you are saving money with LG products!!!! If they don't function and they don't provide adequate support, it's just a waste of money

Less than 30 days after I purchased my LG Tribute 5 I was having trouble. 1) calls weren't clear I couldn't call or take call when I worked 2) when texting it the pointer would not go where I wanted it to, I had to send my texted in two texts since the curser would not return. and many more issues... I was told I had to call LG customer ser. I explained to customer ser the problem and they said I had to send it in for repair...I couldn't believe they were going to repair my new LG Tribute 5 "LEMON" phone I couldn't believe it...I thought LG had good products...

The customer service at LG USA has to be the worst I have ever dealt with and this includes having to deal with Comcast. I mistakenly purchased LG's new curved tv 65EG960 in December 2015. in the 8 months I have had this tv it has needed to be repaired 2 times and the second time it actually caught fire and and burned *** through the nice curved screen. After having to replace two electrical components and one causing a actual fire that caused physical damage the logical conclusion would be to replace the 8 month old tv, but no logic is not part of LG policy as their customer service likes to say. After 4 weeks of being passed on to one LG representative after another and being told it is not their policy to let their customers talk to anybody in management , and having a $6,000 piece of wall art hang in my house LG must have decided that fire starting is a new feature for this TV and will not replace it but repair it. Will they repair it better then the first time? I doubt it because after the first time it caught fire, maybe this time they will install a fire extinguisher in to it. To anyone that is even thinking of buying a LG anything please reconsider because if anything ever goes wrong with your product it is LG policy to give you the run around and to pass you on to anyone else. BUYER BEWERE!!

Lg Electronics in Long Beach, California - HORRIBLE REPAIR WARRANTY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE

YES! I had a charging port of my LG phone, start to go bad early on, took it back to tmobile, bought another charger. Months later, it was loose it would not charge at all. Tmobile suggested contacting LG, since still under warranty. I jumped through al of their loops to get the phone sent out and mentioned it also had a crack. After having the phone for awhile, I get an estimate for the cracked screen with an estimate of $146 to repair, nothing about the port. I was then told in under to repair the port [still under warranty], I'd have to pay to get the screen fixed!!! If the port is defective, FIX IT. By the time if this conclusion, the warranty ran out [hmmm, what a coincidence]. No one even gave me their findings on the port and I just got the run around. They sent the phone back unrepaired, while I was still waiting for an update of the issue being escalated regarding the port. The crack is so fine, I barely knew it was there. The phone otherwise worked perfectly fine, navigation, phone, everything. Just the charging port. Then I had to jump through loops trying to get my unrepaired phone kept at Fedex if miss delivery. BUT NO, LG has this contract that does not allow. So I have call everyone trying to get LG to f=give FED ex permission to hold my own phone for me, instead of sending back to LG! They should be ashamed of themselves! No pride in their product or customer service..deserves NO LOYALTY!
