LG Electronics - Refund
Purchased an LG refrigerator from Home Depot. Quit working after 20 months. It said it had a 5 year warranty for the condenser. Contacted LG who could not find an authorized repairman in my area and offered a refund. One year later and multiple phone calls later still no refund. Worst company to deal with. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Will not honor their warranty.

Worst Customer Experience of Our Lives

We bought a brand new LG dishwasher in October of 2022 and it was installed in the first week of November. This was our 7th LG appliance.

The motor failed and it leaked within 30 days of purchase. Motor was replaced, but the leaking persisted. Technician returned and replaced inner door and gasket. The result was the worst leak yet with a large pool of water on kitchen floor.

Requested a refund and LG refused, demanding we accept another service appointment. Technician returned and discovered a large crack in a reservoir that would have required yet another service visit and another major component replacement. In all, we had three visits by the technician and two cancelled by him for a total of five days of our lives altered to suit LG's needs. Despite all of this they have remained arrogantly resolute that we accept more visits, until they deem the machine "unrepairable".

We were obliged to complain to the BBB for the first time in our lives and LG has maintained their despicable position despite the BBB intervention. This company has been atrocious to us and we would never recommend them to anyone again, nor will we ever buy one of their products again.

Ill be using the laundromat until I can purchase new machines but this time I wont go with LG certainly. The company

Our 3 week old LG dryer threw an error code and an LG technician was assigned for a confirmed four hour window appointment. Waited five hours and no contact which prompted me to call customer service.

I was informed my appointment was canceled per the technician's notes stating "Talked to customer at door and service is no longer required." Pretty odd, given we never left the house and this magical conversation NEVER happened. After calling customer service I was informed the technician would contact me to arrange a new appointment in 24-48 hours. No follow-up and waited five days before calling again. The rep covered for the technician and said the problem is not theirs, since the vent hose may have not been connected correctly.

Back to the store, but the issue here is time lost and integrity.

I lost the first and LG lost the second. Very disappointed and would like to make potential/existing customers aware of the service being provided.

Very poor. Should chang your name of company to LNSG. Life no so good Will not recommend. Cannot connect to wifi on stove, dishwasher door broke on first open and bruise my wifes leg, knowone in area a service technician and they offered to refund my money and tax but not the extended warranty costs.

Hvac unit need help

I'm so upset noone can or call back about this unit that's given serious problems.. I think it's very upsetting that no one can call me back I've called multiple numbers to try and get this equipment operational and every provider that says that they are a expert has not been available nor will even help figure out a solution to this problem it's really upsetting and it's embarrassing because I'm with a major customer.

I called LG Customer Service and after a loooong chat, she hung up on me and didn't call back. They're great when they want you to buy but when something goes wrong, they're nowhere to be found. UGH. Typical customer service these days.

Purchased refrigerator 5/2019. Compressor went out 7/2022. I could not ding an ZLG authorized repair person so I called a repair person recommended by the store. LG was aware the compressors installed in the refrigerators that year were defective but did not have a recall and refused to reimburse the cost I incurred having a new compressor installed. My food was spoiling and I could not wait days to find an authorized repair person. The new compressor installed is an LG compressor.

Class action lawsuit needs to be done again, cust svc is totallyinept

Less than 2 year old LG refrigerator craps out, everything in freezer and frige lost. Come to find out about "old" class action lawsuit.

They didn't fix the product, there needs to be another class action against them. The Linear technology just doesn't work. I wish I had my 25 YO frig back, it worked flawlessly. I got suckered with the sales pitch, efficiency, and the class action is over, problem fixed.

NO THE PROBLEM IS NOT FIXED. Talking to customer service is just wasting your time, they do NOTHING. Took a dozen contacts and 10 days later with a promise to come fix , including parts and labor. That remains to be seen.

I called up to find out where the repair guy was at end of his window for showing up, and find out that they needed a specialist to fix my frige because it has r600a refrigerant. And this needs a more qualified tech(bsbsbsbsbsbsbs) They knew the product # and serial # of the frige, yet it took them 10 days after scheduling repair to say ooops.

I took a second day off from work ( boss isn't thrilled, he thinks I'm making this *** up, to go golfing)( 1st day was to talk to customer service and get repair scheduled fast) (Have you tried to live w/o a frig lately) Now after 2nd day off from work, they tell me this w/o even having the curtesy, to call, text, and or email, to say oopsy, we goofed, and this is what we are going to do. Nope , nothing, and we are going to NOW push this up to the next level. They will use this work order and write up to the supervisor to wipe there arses.

In the mean time I'm working a family in a house with no frige. Don'T PURCHASE AN LG FRIG OR PRODUCT UNLESS YOU ARE OK WITH GETTING SCREWED, I DON'T CARE ABOUT WARRANTIES, REPAIRS, FIXED CLASS ACTION LAWSUITS,IT'S ALL bsbsbs.

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EVEN WORSE THAN I COULD HAVE EVER PREDICTED. FELONS IN JAIL COULD DO A BETTER JOB. Now I'm stuck in Summer with no frig, no repair, from a almost $3k frig.

The old tech and designs are not as cute, but I would rather have a WORKING cheap frig, twice over. Between the lost food, lost work days, BS cust svc, and the price tag. Do not purchase LG, you will be very very sorry.

Just google your purchase and learn about all the problems. What a way to bust the budget for the Summer, with this POS LG frig.

Customer service rep was unwilling to do anything else to help--ended call with me still having a downed LG refrigerator. Guess I'm appliance shopping tonight--NOT LG!!

I've had for 6.5 years now, compressor was replaced twice in 1st 2 years. Customer service will not offer compensation, only want to give me info so I can set up another compressor installation--3 weeks from now--if the compressor is in stock!! I will not go another 6 weeks (as I did when the 1st 2 went out) without a refrigerator!!

LG Electronics - Very poor customer service
My $1300 OLED C1 TV changes inputs on its own and has started turning itself on in the middle of the night. Numerous calls to LG have not as of yet resulted in a resolution. I've had people keep me waiting on the phone listening to the jingle for 45 minutes per call. It's a bunch of lies and nonsense, they do not get back to me as promised each and every time. I am stuck with no recourse.

LG stole my monitor/ terrible customer service + flaw monitor design

The worst customer experience ever in my life from this LG 35WN75C-B monitor purchase. Put aside the flawed design which has been hot on Amazon here.

What's wrong?

The monitor back charged my Alienware and fried it. I was told by LG to send to monitor back for repair, and there would be liability department contact for compensation.

Then what happened?

It's been 6 weeks, my repair case has been updated. I received an email from LG that says they would buy back the monitor, and reimburse me $560 once I ship the unit back. How ridiculous is that?

I don't have the monitor!!! I sent multiple emails to explain, and it took another week for a reply by Sheterrica Pettway. But, the email only stated that she/he would check.

Their phone customer service is worthless. I made 10+ calls so far, all got hung up at some point, either during a conversation or being transferred.

Emails are absolute one way communication, with days of delay.

At this point, with all the time and frustration cost. I would just say, don't buy from LG.
