$2000 fridge stopped working after 2.5 years. LG would only send out a repair person after I had already paid for troubleshooting by another company.
Now their tech has to diagnose the problem again, and only then order parts - total waste of my time and money. This is a known issue, as many have experienced, the issue is with the sealed system. I ran the so called "smart diagnostics" which was totally useless - it could not detect the problem. I am out cost of diagnosis, service labor, not to mentioned spoiled food, inconvenience of not having a fridge for days, and lost time at work so I can stay home for the repair man.
This fridge family has inherit flaws and LG knows it. I have lost faith in the LG Brand and will put my confidence, and $$, in another brand.
Reason of review: Bad quality.
Monetary Loss: $735.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
I didn't like: Reliability, Lg does not stand behind their products, Quality of refrigerators, Speed of repair, Customer service interactions - did not keep me well informed.
