Purchased an LG LCDTV in 2009. Inverter failed on the TV in July 2012.

3 years moderate use is poor to say the least. Rang LG customer service. Informed that as I live in East Midlands UK that I was not within the cachment area of LG's single repairer who is based in Scotland!

Asked for details of a local repairer to be provided to be informed that no info was available. Customer service was a waste of time, the adviser agreed that the service was poor, and had raised the issue on a number of occassions but nothing had been done.
