We purchased our fridge less than 3 years ago and the compressor is bad. I called LG 2 weeks ago today and it is yet to be repaired.

They will cover the cost of the compressor but not the labor. It took 5 days to get the part and when the repair company installed it, they found the new compressor doesn't work either. I called LG again and spoke to a supervisor and they assured me that we can use the same authorization number and they will over night the part. That was on Wednesday and now it's Friday and no part.

I call LG again and they said the order is pending but they will call the repair company to get it sent out. This is unacceptable. We are at the mercy of these people that don't know the right hand from the left. I have never had such poor customer service on an appliance.

We are now going on 3 weeks without a fridge and I'm really not sure when we will get it fixed. Never ever buy LG products!

Sorry for your loss. We had same experience with our LG Frenchdoor fridge.

Our was 2 years and 3 months old. We decided to replace and keep the LG on porch in case a class action is filed.
