I have never received such poor service from a company.
First: the appliances are relatively new-only three years.
Washer: simple issue of replacing the gasket: not only could I get an appointment, but LG outsourced it to a Toronto company (Appliance Services), and they claim they were never told about an appointment made by LG Customer Service. It took several weeks to have someone come to change the gasket.
Dryer: the main control board has stopped working on the dryer, so that when the door is shut, the drum spins, with no heat (without turning it the dryer on). LG Customer Service claims it was a voltage issue, but in fact it is not.
Not only that, but they did not properly (again!) book an appointment with their outsourced company in Vaughan: Appliance Services. As such, I had to follow up with this company, they also know nothing about the control board being damaged, and although LG Customer Service assured me they would follow up with their outsourced company to inform them of the control board issue, THEY DID NOT. Further, they claim they booked an appointment between 9 am and 5 pm on Friday: do they think people don't have day jobs, where they can't actually wait an entire day for a repairman? In addition, the outsource company has no notes of an appointment, nor the issue. It is BRUTAL to get repairs; and! LG Washer/Dryer keeps breaking down, or having problems. Next time, I will by a good old Kenmore.
Reviewer is in unhappy mood. This person is quite happy with n o t h i n g and stated that there is a room for improvement of after sales service. Please immediately contact the author of this review to discuss poor customer service of lg electronics washer and dryer combination. Lg Electronics needs to offer any options to resolve the issue according to poster's claims.
