Firmware update made it through to the auto power off and it did. When I went to power it back on all that it could do is show the LG life's good splash screen and keep trying to re-boot.
I've been talking to the LG customer service people for hours with no avail. They keep telling me that it is broken and I will have to pay for it to be serviced even though I followed the LG manufactures instructions exactly.
I even asked if they had any refurbished blu-ray players that could be purchased and they said no...they don't have any refurbished players. DO NOT buy LG products unless you are happy with the lack of customer support.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Monetary Loss: $100.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
I liked: When it worked.
I didn't like: Lack of cst svc when they broke it.
