LG MICROWAVE | Lg Electronics

LG MICROWAVE - Lg Electronics
In April 2015 I purchased an LG Microwave model #LMHM2237ST for over $400. Today November 20, 2015, I just made my third call for repair since I purchased. 3 calls to LG for a repair technician within 7 months! Microwave just stops working:1) turntable doesn't turn 2) No heat 3) No sound. This will be my last time buying any LG product. THIS IS THE LAST TIME I WILL BE PURCHASING ANY LG PRODUCT. I already own LG refrigerator, Washing Machine and dryer. Dishwasher. I have called the technician and I cannot get anyone to come and fix the microwave until November 28th, 2015. What am I supposed to do for thanksgiving! NEVER AGAIN WILL I PURCHASE ANYTHING LG.

Purchased a top of the line dryer model LG (most expensive of their line). The Lint trap doesn't set down far enough in its place so the corners jut out a bit on each side. When drying a piece of clothing that has a strap, or a thin belt of material on it, it gets...

Lg Electronics - Dryer Review from Kokomo, Indiana

I will never purchase anything LG again! My husband and I both work very hard for our money. We purchased an LG front load washer and dryer the end of Aug. we called customer service to report our washer not working properly. They scheduled a service appointment for late the next week. The service man stated the the washer needed a new motor and several other parts that would have to be ordered. While we have waited 4 weeks for the service man to return. With several phone calls made to service center asking for return calls never getting a response only that the parts were on back order. It has been over month now without our washer. He was supposed to be here late this afternoon. It is now 6:30 and he has still not shown up. I would not advise purchasing LG products. We will NEVER make this mistake again!!

Abysmal LG Service Repair Under Warranty | Lg Electronics in Newport News, Virginia

I purchased an LG dryer at Home Depot on Nov. 23, 2011 and took pout the LG extended warranty. On Oct. 25, 2013 the dryer stopped working. Five days later an LG service tech arrived and couldn't locate the problem though the dryer was working while he was here. Several days later the dryer stopped working permanently. Three days after compaining to Home Dept an appointment was made with another techician. He never showed up and didn't call. Called Home Depot who setup an appointment for Nov. 9. The tech never sh owed up and didn't call. On Nov. 11 I visited with the store manager at Home Depot in Williamsburg, Va. and requested a new dryer. LG refused the request. I will never buy another LG product again.

Smell in washing machine | Lg Electronics in Hollywood, Florida

I have an LG Washer & Dryer. No matter what I do, after washing there is a smell from the washing machine. I always leave the door open after the washer is used, but that doesn't help. I have also used bleach and soap to do a wash cycle after washing to rid the smell and it helps, however, I can't do that all of the time. Now I'm hearing that this is due to mold. What can I do to alleviate this problem or what will LG do to alleviate this problem. I have bought many LG appliances - tv's etc..

Unfortunitly this is a problem with Front Load washers, of any brand, not just LG. One thing you can do is to wipe down and dry the rubber seal after you are done doing laundry for the day.

Also using Affresh will help clean the tub of build up and mold.

Another thing to use, it wont get rid of the mold, but it will get rid of the smell, is the frebreeze crystals or a like product.

CLOTHES DRYER -sears kenmore ELITE is LG | Lg Electronics in Ontario, California

Purchased a Sears-Kenmore Elite gas clothes dryer -after just 13 months started smelling gas - found out it was an LG but Sears would not service-called independent repair, said would cost $500 in parts(either mother board or gas sensor, but would have to replace both one at a time to determine problem. Re-booted, ran for awhile, then started smelling gas and not heating again. Had to buy a new dryer-Never will I buy from Sears/Kenmore/LG again, this product should be taken off the market-no brand trust - no product support - have recall on other models of Kenmore Elite for problems with gas "overheating"

Don't waste your money on an LG product | Lg Electronics in Dayton, Ohio

Since I have had almost LG appliances, I decided that people need to know what a horrible idea it is to buy this brand. Right after the one year warranty was up, I had to have my washer serviced at a tune of $200. Before the 3 year mark, I found out that the dryer had a cracked drum and it would just be better to buy a new one. The repair person really didn't have positive things to say about LG. I went shopping for a new dryer thinking I would be able to replace it. I had the full size stackable. But guess what? They make sure the newest model doesn't stack on an old washer and of course they don't have the old model and have nothing to make it work. So I ended up having to order a new washer and dryer. Believe me it wasn't an LG either. Now, at 4 years the ice tray along with the shelf in my freezer has broken. The repair person said it can't really be fixed. They made the thing so cheaply. So $2000 for a refrigerator/freezer does not mean it is of any quality. I will be glad when I am able to replace all my LG products with something different. The only scary thing is I am not sure if there is another product out there making the same thing under a different name.

More Than 3 Weeks To Fix My LG Gas Dryer! | Lg Electronics in Norfolk, Massachusetts

I bought a LG Dryer from Home Depot in March of 2010. Consumer Reports had rated it as better than average so we went with it. We then decided to purchase the matching washing machine. About a month ago, my wife smelled gas by the dryer. I checked all the connections and cleaned the exhaust vent. This seemed to fix the issue. One week after, she smelled the gas again - first outside coming from the vent and also inside by the dryer. I immediately shut-off the gas, let the room clear of the smell and then turned the gas back on. We didn't smell anything. So my attention turned to the dryer and started to research on the web what would cause this condition. It didn't take me long to determine that LG had a few issues with this dryer. One gentlemen reported almost the same conditions I was experiencing and after several attempts to correct the problem, the technician replaced the controller board (a $200 item). The other issue was the drum weld which would let go (I didn't have that issue). So I contacted LG support who quickly informed me that my warranty had run out but they may extend it based on a decision made but a supervisor. I was told this process takes 3 to 5 business days. I was also told to send them a quick summary of what happened and to attach a copy of my receipt which I did. After the sixth day, I hadn't heard anything, I again contacted the same Service Advisor. She informed me that to resend the email because she couldn't open the attachment! I sent it again. That evening I called LG again and got another service representative. He apologized and asked me to send him the email. He opened it on the phone and had no problems. I received the news that LG would extend my warranty and was told to contact them to setup an appointment for service. I called and LG gave me 2 companies in my area for service. I called the first who informed me that they no longer supported LG products. I called the second and he informed me that he would be out on Saturday (2 days from now). The tech came out on Saturday and determined that the controller board was bad and he would call me in 3 to 5 business days when the part comes in! My expectation was he would repair the dryer that day, not just evaluate it! I called LG and asked for a supervisor. Some fifteen minutes later, he got on and then explained to me this is the process and there's no way around it. I have an extensive Service Delivery background and we discussed the pros and cons of their process passionlessly! It was the holiday weekend and the part couldn't be ordered until Tuesday. I asked that the part be shipped over night (which I had to pay for) with the hope we could be drying cloths by Wednesday. The tech was suppose to call me on Tuesday to inform me the part was ordered which he didn't do. I called the tech on Wednesday and he informed me that the part had not been ordered and there was a financial issue with LG! He also told me that I may have to find another technician (which LG said I couldn't do once the extended warranty number was given to this tech). I called LG again and I asked for a supervisor. She finally got on and I explained the latest issue. She asked if I minded waiting on hold. After almost 20 mins on hold , she came back and said she was still working the issue and would call me back which she did in about 45 mins. She informed me that the issues were corrected with the tech and he would order the part over night and call me the next day to schedule an appointment. The tech called the next morning and informed my wife that the part had come in and he would be by to install it between 2 and 4pm. I took vacation time off from work to ensure I would be available when he showed up. When I got home, (around 3pm) I had a message on the phone from the tech informing us that the part hadn't come in and he had to reschedule for the next day. I called the tech and wanted assurance that he would be at my house at a specific time. He said he would call me when the part arrived and then come over and install it. I left work at 2pm and called the tech. The part hadn't arrived yet via UPS. I asked if he had a tracking number. He only had an order number and he was attempting to contact UPS. While I was on the phone with LG, the tech called me back informing me that he had received the part and was in route to my house. The part did fix my problem. LG has lost a customer because of their lack of customer focus, their lack of communication and most importantly their lack of concern that one of their customers were down for almost a month. I will never purchase an LG product and suggest you don't. We as consumers need to stand together and demand quality products and when they break, quality service to back-up their product. The lack of concern was amazing – hiding behind their processes is not the answer! By saying they're sorry we're going threw this and then not working with you to fix it is unacceptable. Finally the call waiting music SUCKS!!! They should rename the company to NLG (Not Living Good)
