Customer service only gives a ear but with absolutely no resolve! After buying a LG refrigerator, dishwasher, washer and dryer, I will never ever buy another LG product again!
My brand new LG washer came with the rubber seal insert ring installed improperly at the factory with water gushing from the frontload door. After calling customer service and two appointments later, one service rep found the metal ring was not installed properly causing the leakage. After ordering the part and installing it properly, no problem except it left a stain from the bottom of the door to the base which I cannot for the life of me remove! Additionally, with the purchase of the washer I bought a gas Dryer that ruined $600 worth of ladies lingerie as the company delivered the dryer with the wrong dryer lint vent trap with caused the clothes tumbling to catch on the lip of the lint trap and twisting and breaking the straps and causing holes in the clothes caught on the improper lint trap!
Additionally. the dryer had been improperly painted causing a rust spot on the upper right outside of the dryer and paint peeling profusely from the lip of the inside opening of the dryer! Not any of these problems are insurmountable nor expected from $1900 worth of brand new appliances! After contacting LG customer service and receiving lip service and a request for photos of the damage, not once but twice, 3 weeks later no contact from the company!
Three more hour long telephone conversations ended with the same responses, "those are cosmetic issues and the company would do absolutely nothing about it"! WTF is going on with that type of response! followup telcons with the extended warranty company was even worse and I decided to not waste any more valuable time with this LG company and never buy their products again and tell the world what a piece of #!@&* company there are!
F%#&^* LG and the horse they rode in on! Never again!
