Appliance fail after 1 year warranty expired - Lg Electronics
Our supposedly reliable and innovative LG smart inverter neochef microwave, rated 4.5 stars, decided to develop a temperature sensor problem shortly after the 1 year warranty expired. Customer service said that obviously, since it is just past 1 year, we either buy a new microwave or pay more than the $160 it cost to purchase it to get it serviced.

Broke after 3 weeks | Lg Electronics

Details
I bought an LG countertop microwave oven that quit working 3 weeks later. Customer Service said I could get a refund but it's now been over 3 months and no refund. I had to write 2 letters and make numerous phone calls - LG is a nightmare to deal with, Their customer service people are barely understandable over the phone, and they never follow up on any of my letters. I just emailed the company again and now they are asking for the same documentation already sent them. I filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau, the FTC, and the State Atty General, the next step will be to sue them in small claims court. This has been a huge waste of time and frustration, I will never purchase an LG product again - a very unprofessional corporation who do not honor their warranties.

Rude, Not fulfilling warranty | Funai Corporation

Purchased a microwave 4/2017, it no longer works, I was told it has a manufacturer warranty on it that is up in April 2018, after that, my insurance kicks in to cover it. Here's the problem, I contacted Emerson in February 2018 when the microwave went out, they contacted me via email telling me to call a number. I politely explained via email, due to my work hours and schedule, I dont have time for personal calls, I could only correspond via email, however, if this can't be done, we could try and resolve this matter however, as well as sent them the proof of purchase, proof of warranty ect. Well, to date, no response, I repeatedly sent emails and no response, guess they are stalling until the warranty is up which is in April 2018.

The handle is not smooth and shiny as it is supposed. Customer Service says it is not a warranty item.

Purchased LG double oven electric stove, freezer on bottom refrigerator and above stove microwave August 2012. Thankfully I purchased a HomeDepot extended warranty on all 3 appliances. Just had the door on microwave replace and a door switch on refrigerator replaced. I am terrified the stove is next. Warranty expires next month (8-2016). I am so disgusted with LG. We replaced our kitchen and up graded!! What a disappointment. My other appliance were still in working condition after 16 yrs. never,never again!! I will make every effort to discourage anyone to buy LG.
