I brought a LG range in February 2019 and had to have it serviced in June 2019 because the relay board went out and it wouldn't heat. It is now January 2020 and it is doing the same exact thing again. Called LG and their Customer Service is poor. LG doesn't want to do anything besides send out the same technical support that came out in June. Ask about just replacing the range and they pretty much laughed at us.

Home Depot has nothing to do with the manufacturers warranty. I'd you read the warranty the manufacturer will REPAIR, not replace the appliance. Just like buying a new car, the manufacturer won't replace the car but repair any defects during g the warranty period.

No surprise there ! Home Depot will run you in circles rather than repair a roof they charged $19,000 for.

Heating element failed after 18 months | Lg Electronics in Sewickley, Pennsylvania

We bought an LG stove about 18 months ago. When turning the oven on, we got a code that said the oven would not go above 100 degrees. We ended up paying $174 to replace the heating element. We asked the repairman why it burned out so fast and he said that using the self-clean feature heats so high that it burns out the heating element. We asked why LG recommends using the self clean and he said so they could make more money on parts!!!! NEVER BUY LG ANYTHING!!!

This is why you buy a basic, no-frills appliance and when it starts giving you problems, you buy another to replace it. Just dump the thing and buy a different brand.

You know when you bye a water heater say a 6 yr model they will ask you if you want to purchase an extended warranty , you dont need one because the unit is covered for the 6 yrs ,, they dont tell you its prorated and the kicker is they go by the tag on heater for the mfg date and base the time from that when some have been on the shelf for yrs

best to save money and by heater from installing plumber ( licensed)there tanks are full warranty not prorated and start warranty at date of install.

I bought an LG oven range, microwave, and refrigerator exactly 2 years ago and about 6 months ago the oven range went and cost me 500.00 to repair a faulty wire. Now two weeks ago the microwave stopped working. These are the WORST appliances I've ever owned. The factory warranty is one year and their is no one in my area that works in LG so I had to pay more for repairs. ONE year and things are breaking, REALLY????? LG is the worst!!!!!
