Lg Electronics - Brand new LG Dryer Malfunctioning - LG Won't Help

I bought an LG electric dryer from HH Gregg in November 2013. A month after, one of the cycles stopped working. I called LG many times. They did send out 4 repair men from 2 different companies who replaced various parts, but the issue persists. After the last repair man came out and was unable to do anything, I called LG again hoping they'd replace the unit. They said the repair man determined my dryer was "working to specifications" and they couldn't do anything further for me. The guy was literally there for 5 minutes! Not sure how he could determine anything - if he stayed through the cycle, he'd see my clothes were coming out soaking wet even though I select "very dry" every time. I wrote to LG Executive Service through their Facebook page and they would also do nothing for me. I called HH Gregg several times and they've told me they filed a report with their vendor relations but thus far no one has called me back. I'm so angry that I spent $900 on a dryer that does not work properly and am even angrier that an LG rep at one point told me to "just use a different cycle"! Will never buy LG again.

Lg Electronics in Englewood, Colorado - The Compressor on our LG Refridgerator went out

Our Refridgerator freezer went belly up and it's not 5 years old. Called the dealer were we bought it and he sent a serviceman right away. The compressor was shot and he said it most likely would be covered under warranty but service would be between 300 and 500. He stated we could still use the Refridgerator though until we decided what to do. I hate to sound like my parents, but when you use to buy a product you expected it to last 15-20 years. Not so anymore -- you pay 3 times as much and it doesn't last a third of the time. Anyway, before we could decide whether to have him come and repair it the Refridgerator went belly up as well. Dealer was fine, he didn't know they had a bad product. He probably won't carry the L G line anymore. The repair person was fine and very informative -just an inferior product. lBN22515SB

Lg Electronics - Dishwasher has ruined our floor and caused us grief.

We bought our dishwasher from the Brick in Guelph in January 2013 and it worked for about a month. After that, it stopped washing the dishes. They began to come out as dirty as they went in but the food was now baked onto the dishes. This meant that after they went through a cycle we had to scrape the food off by hand. We were already rinsing most of the food off before even putting them in the dishwasher. Then it started to leak. And not a little water, but huge puddles covering half the kitchen. This has been going on for almost a year on and off and the whole time the dishes are not clean. As of now our tiles on the floor have mold underneath and the floor is ruined. We have called 5 times and every time they say they have no record of our calls. They are conveniently "loosing" our complaints. A man has come out to fix it multiple times and we have asked him just to remove it immediately but they have no solutions for us. They suggested to run it on heavy duty which is a 6 hour cycle and it still made no difference. The company has been rude and unhelpful and their dishwasher is completely useless. I would never recommend anyone buy from them ever. In fact I warn everyone that their product is horrible and the company is just as bad.

Lg Electronics in Eau Claire, Wisconsin - 14 month old LG Refrigerator--Compressor Failed

On 11/23/13 our 14 month old LG refrigerator died. I called Customer Service who provided an approved appliance repair center. They could not come out until 11/25, upon which they determined the compressor died. On 11/25 I called LG to report the findings and was told in 3-5 business days they would decide whether to pay for repairs. On 12/5 I called and was told that the appliance repair center now had to call to get repairs covered. We finally received approval on 12/9. I had to get a loaner refrigerator because of the delay. LG said that even though it took them 19 days (instead of 3 to 5) to resolve the problem, they will not pay for the loaner. I will never purchase another LG refrigerator.

Lg Electronics - LG Optimus G useless

i have had 4 of these *** phones now. all of them just as useless as the last. i paid $600 for this *** phone and customer service is useless. the phone was over heating, (left a burn mark while charging on my table), and would only last 2hrs on a charge. so i send it to LG to get fixed. 4 weeks later i get it back DAMAGED and nothing has changed. i get them to send me a new one. it wouldnt charge. i left it plugged in for 30hrs and it still said "NEED MORE CHARGE TO POWER ON." send it back, they send me a new one. it has a DEAD SPOT on the screen in the first 10mins of turning it on. i send that back and i get ANOTHER NEW ONE. this one sometimes will charge, most of the time it WONT charge. NEVER BUY AN LG PHONE, THEY HAVE *** QUALITY CONTROL; *** CUSTOMER SERVICE; *** REPAIR SERVICE.

i called lg two weeks ago about my vacuum being broken again. i talked to a supervisor and told him my concern about how long it takes for there repair. the first time i sent it in we were without a vacuum for a month! i talked to him and he said he would get me a replacement and i could send the old one back. fast forward two weeks and no phone call. so i called back and talked to another supervisor and he said he would get to the bottom of if and call me on Monday. so i get a voice mail today saying they are going to sent me a box for repair. i am not happy! and Eric at the call center who is supposedly a supervisor was very demeaning, rude, aggressive and had a very ard time keeping his story straight. i will never purchase another lg product as long as i live! i will never endorse another lg product!

Lg Electronics - Broken monitor, usless customer service

My 5 month old monitor started displaying interlaced lines on one side. What should be a simple procedure to arrange a pick up, repair and return of the product has so far turned into a month long email ordeal. They are asking for ridiculous information, that has no relevance to the repair. I work for microsoft and when an xbox needs servicing it is a straight forward affair. It is not like LG are short of money and certainly not like I am trying to get something off them that I do not deserve, I simply want the monitor I paid for to be fixed. So far it is probably the worst customer service I have encountered.

Lg Electronics in New Delhi, Delhi - Compressor not in Stock

Compressor of my window AC stopped functioning. Technician took the AC for repair and told me that will get it installed back in 2 days. I contacted them after 2 days and the reply I got was that compressor is not in stock and I will have to wait for a week time. I told them if that is the case please replace it with a new one, since it was bought on 1st June ’13. They asked me to contact the shop supervisor. Shop supervisor(Rajesh) asked me to contact his manager(Himanshu) and then his manager asked to contact his manager(Jitender Sharma). He also said that he is the one who approves it however will have to speak with his manager. Now the big boss says that he cannot replace the AC since that also takes a week time and if I want to register a complaint I can do that as well. My question is, if you don’t have a part available why can’t these guys replace it with a new one. Today they say compressor stopped working, a month later if something else happens I still have to be without AC for good 2 weeks(even though its under warranty). 23 days after I bought the phone error messages started to pop up and I called customer service and they said I had to send it back to them to be repaired. It has been In Repair for a week. I use work for a technology company and it was 1-2 business days. Granted we catered to business clients but even still you could send a refurb to replace the phone that died. LG informed me today when I called that it takes two weeks to get your phone back. They probably figure that if they drag their feet in getting it fix I will give up and buy another phone.

Lg Electronics in Portland, Maine - Life is NG with LG - Washer broke after 10 loads - zero recourse

My washer broke after 10 loads. I live in a rural area and no repair tech would come to my home to repair under warranty. LG customer service was absolutely zero help so I got my hands on a service manual and diagnosed the problem -- a defective circuit board. I bought a new one online (LG Original Equipment) and installed it and everything works (for now). Do you think I could get LG to replace the defective board or to reimburse me for the part I had to buy? After all I saved them time and money... all it would take to keep a customer happy would be to replace a board that is clearly defective and in warranty. Last time I ever think LG... Funny thing is that my neighbor warned me about LG and I didn't listen. "An upset customer tells 5 people.. a delighted customer tells 10"
