Best Buy - LG does not care

We purchased an LG 43" UHD TV a little over a year ago from Best Buy. Last Thursday I was watching something that I had recorded. All of a sudden the picture froze but the audio continued. I attempted to switch the the last channel I had watched but it would not change. I attempted to bring up the guide but still the picture remained with audio only. I shut the TV off and after a minute I turned it back on and all I had was a snowy picture. I tried this several times and still just a snowy picture with audio. I attempted to reboot the cable box to no avail. Finally called the cable company who once again had me try and reboot box but still no picture. The customer service rep said it could be that the cable coming from the wall to the box was bad. So she set up an appointment for this past Saturday. The tech came out and we disconnected the TV and tried the 42" LG from the master bedroom and it worked just fine. The service tech said it was not a cable problem but an issue with the TV. I called LG and explained this to them. The warranty had expired and I did not get the extended warranty. So I was advised that there would be service charge for coming out and then a cost to repair the set. They estimated that the cost to repair the TV between $200.-$300. I authorized the repair and was told that someone would be out by 5pm that same day. They would call before coming out. Well that was this past Saturday and it is now Monday and I have not heard from LG. I called yesterday and they could not explain why the tech did not call. So I was told that a service tech would call me by 5pm to set up an appointment for today, Monday. Once again, no one called yesterday and no one came out today to repair the TV. So I called LG once again today. ironically I spoke to the same person today that I spoke with on Saturday. He apologized and said that he could once again set up to have a service tech call me today. I said that I wanted to speak with a supervisor. He said that one would return my call within an hour. Well it now has been 2 hours and I have not heard from a supervisor. I have 4 TV's in my home and they are all LG's. We are in the process of purchasing a new refrigerator and was recently at Home Depot and there was a rep there from LG and he showed us an LG fridge that we were considering purchasing next week and that was because that model was going to be on sale. Well I am done with LG. I will never purchase anything from this company again. As for LG meaning Life is Good, it should stand for Lousy Garbage.

Best Buy - Cracked screen on tv

I get delivered a tv with a cracked screen and opened it past a 15 day period so now I'm getting completely screwed out of the money spent for the tv and the extra protection plan. We would've been life long customers but after this I'll never buy anything from this company again.
