Lg Electronics - NEXUS 5

I bought NEXUS5 almost 1 month ago, and even though I used phone cover and screen cover, the screen was totally damage. I just drop my phone 20 cm away from floor, and I really feel Nexus 5 is really easy to break and I cannot believe screen is obviously easy to broken. There is no warranty, and they estimated $300 for fixing screen and it will take 3 weeks. Its so ***! Its almost same as actual phone value. *** Korean company. It shows how Korea is *** country. It should be colonized by China or Asian countries. I will never buy it from LG.

firstly no phone "cover" or screen "cover" will save a phone from dropping on its face. that my friend is your fault.

as for the warranty I've looked into it and they DO have a warranty just like EVERY other phone/electronics device that comes out 99% of them are limited to MANUFACTURER's defects. you dropping it on the face of the phone is NOT a defect in itself you know.

Lg Electronics in Lincolnton, North Carolina - Front burners sometimes dont turn off or on

Our range is the same stove but one model year newer it started out the front burners would take 2 or 3 times pressing to turn on then it became worse even sometimes staying on not shutting off. This started when it was 16-18 months old when i called lg customer support they told me it was out of warranty i would have to pay for the repair. At that time i purchased 3 appliances with the lg label and also own 2 tv,s. This is a known problem and recalled on the past years model. I feel any safety issue this age should be a covered item

Lg Electronics in Raleigh, North Carolina - LG Refrigerator Complaint Retracted

I submitted a complaint on 8/31 concerning an expensive LG refrigerator. I just got off the phone with executive customer service and they have agreed to extend the warranty and pay for parts and labor. So today "Life is Good." For all others, persistence pays off. The ordeal took over five days and multiple calls to customer service followed up by an e-mail for results to materialize. The e-mail complaint sent directly to LG initiated the results. So the moral of the story is "Don't give up until you have to." They do stand behind their products after all.

Lg Electronics in San Jose, California - Lg Motion Cell Phone Issues not resolved

I recently (45 days ago) purchased a new Lg Motion for which I paid $240.00. I have insurance with the cell phone provider and my phone is still under the manufacturer warranty. However in the past 45 days, my phone has been replaced twice because of technical issues and it's currently frozen and I cannot use it at all! When I called the LG manufacturer I spoke to the "Execitive Department" and all he said was "I can't tell you anything but to send me your phone, pay the shipping and handling and wait 7-14 days for a new phone"! Are you kidding me? I already sent the phone in twice, paid shpiping twice and was out a phone for 10 days TWICE! I asked him to give me a refund because of all the issues with this phone as his response was "sorry we don't do refunds" Then what the *** do you guys do? NOTHING AT ALL!!! I will NEVER purchase any other product from LG EVER!

Lg Electronics in Cairo, Al Qahirah - Very bad after sale service

I decided to buy 2 LG air conditions, so I called LG official dealer in Egypt. They advised that I should buy the Air condition from a retailer, so I asked themservices he nearest one to my location, which I called and they installed the air conditions. 2 months later one of them suddenly stopped on 8/7, so I called LG dealer the same day. They advised that the 1st year warranty is by the retailer! So I called him. He came on 6/7, after the inspection he told me that the compressor has stopped and that he is not allowed to fix it!! And that the dealer should take care of it. So I called the dealer back who did not show up until 11/7. The technician stated that the problem is with the electrical cable which from the fan side was compatable with LG and not compatable from the compressor side, which is the retailer mistake that caused a short circuit! Then he simply left telling me that he will consult with his supervisor on the action (which is simply to replace this cable)!!!! He also mentioned that I might bare the cost of this cable!! In all cases, up till now (14/7) no action has been taken. I regret buying this brand.

Lg Electronics in Plano, Texas - LG Appliances will not honor warranty

I purchased an LG dishwasher October of 2012. Today is July 11 of 2012. in this time frame eight technicians have attempted to repair this LG dishwasher. The last two Technicians have recommended that the item be replaced because there is no solution or resolution for repair (in other un-repairable) LG America is refusing to honor the one year Manufacturers Warranty. I will never buy another LG appliance product, ever. The customer service was the worst. I called the corporate office at (912)567-8860 and received a complete run around from corporate office. Any future customers should be aware that LG corporation and Lg America refuse to honor the one year manufacturer Warranty.

This happened to me too! With my refrigerator. They just delayed and delayed until that warranty expired, never provided any service. :roll

I am facing the same problem. A $2200 shiny {{Redacted}} that stopped cooling after 5 years.

I can't find an authorized dealer anywhere near us and other repairmen do not want to repair it because they say LG does not reimburse them. We have been without a refrigerator for 3 weeks and the last repairman I spoke to told me it is a sealed system problem and that LG would pay for the compressor but the service call is $200 and the labor cost is 450.00. I am stunned and angry.

I have read post after post describing the same issue. This is unbelievable!!!

Lg Electronics in Miami, Florida - LG does not honor their warranty, dont buy LG

Purchase LG microwave in Jan 29 2013 The unit sat in the box for 1 month because of installing new cabinets, opened the box 35 days after purchase date and found defects (dents) in the door face from the manufacture line in china. They said since its over 30 days they dont cover defects that are purely cosmetic. Their warranty clearly states warranty is 1 yr on defective material or workmanship. Nothing is stated about cosmetic defects are not covered. It appears LG does not give a ***. Future buyers beware, dont buy LG products, I know I wont buy another LG product ever again

Lg Electronics in Manhattan, New York - Air Conditioner Never fixed

My Air conditioner was purchased in 2011. In may 2012 we requested a repair, it was taken 3 times and still doesn't work. We purchased a new Air conditioning unit early Summer of 2011 here is the information for the unit: Receipt No: RNM120831062808 Product: LP1411SHR.ASVAOSH / WRA Serial No: 103TAFZ00451 We paid by credit card and the unit was around $700.00. Our air conditioner broke towards the end of Summer 2011. In April of 2012 we finally needed it again and attempted contacting LG about getting the unit repaired. Finally we were able to set up a time towards the END of May. We were referred to Rising Sun Services, LLC in New Jersey under warranty. The issue with our unit was that it wasn't cooling. Rising Services picked it up at the beginning of June, and dropped it off. The unit was leaking after a day. We called again and Rising Services picked it up again about a week later. The unit was dropped off but it sounded like a machine gun and the vent wasn't opening, they immediately took it back because we didn't let the delivery man leave until we tested it. We received the air conditioner a little more than a week later. A couple of days after that, the air conditioner, again, stopped cooling. During this process they have also broken the exhaust vent from mishandling when setting unit and taking down unit throughout this. After the 4 time of the Air Conditioning breaking and 3rd time of Rising Services being incompetent in their repairs, we were referred to RA TV by LG. We were given a date of pick-up. The delivery man was very nice, but told us that we needed to pay for the service, we said we are covered under warranty. LG told us we wouldn't have to pay. Due to this, we were back on the phone with LG and our unit was never picked up by RATV. Throughout this process we had been speaking with Louis Chen. We also spoke to a supervisor named John. We are going into our 11 month and needless to say, we have a broken $700.00 air conditioner that we have been trying to get fixed. Most recently, I received an email from a Jackeline Tunon of LG wondering how our air conditioner was working and following up with us about one of the original cases. I responded, but it's been a week and have yet to receive a response back. Here we are into the third summer of owning the air conditioning unit and we've used the machine for a total of 5 months. I called LG today and was told that my a representative, Michelle, that I would need to call back during regular business hours to speak with a supervisor because they don't work on weekends. Also, I have to wait 10 business days to wait for a response from Jackeline on my response to her email. This is after I have been waiting 11 months, 3 repairs, and 2 service centers for a working air conditioner.

Lg Electronics - LG Customer Service a joke

I purchased a Refrid/Freezer on 9/10/12 from Best Buy. I was told I had the best warranty. 2 nights ago the ice maker went out. I called LG. They said to unplug it for 4 hours and plug back in. Done, two hours later the same error. Called LG, the CS rep DOES NOT EVEN TURN IN THE SERVICE ORDER. I wait all day for a repair company to come out. NO calls. I call Best Buy. They tell me 2 days for repair. This is a refrid/freezer. The food is going BAD. Called LG 3 more times last night, still no repair coming out. DO NOT BUY LG!!! They will not service there own product! Best Buy is just as bad. They don't back up what they sell.
