Ipurchased from Agren Appliance in So. Portland Maine the listed refirgerator July 2006. 13 months later I required service on the appliance that required a new fan motor. LG was not helpful in this service, and while the unit was 1 month our of warranty, my dealer told me that I would have better luck ordering the part from LG rather than they. January 2008 the unit required a new "board" for the electronics. Total service costs at that point werewell over 300 dollars. 6 months after this, both latches on the doors broke off, and severe ice build up started in the freezer.

Finally, last week, as the doors do not properly close, the alarm not always reliable, the door was cracked open, the light never shut off and this melted the lens over the light. This 4 year old fridge is now being replaced, tomorrow with another brand of refrigerator. I am exceptionally unhappy with LG and their lack of support for customers and their dealers.
