I am unhappy with my service call yesterday. The man showed up and I tried to find something on my TV to show the banding problem I am seeing.

I pulled up a 5% grey slide on YouTube to show what I am seeing. The banding stands out during low light scenes and is hard to ignore. The man called LG support and they had him go into the Service menu and show them my TV through his phone. Well with the SM slides they saw nothing.

Well of course they won't see anything in normal colors, the banding is prominent in low light grey scenes. The LG support said they could not go by 3rd party video or slides. What kind of customer service is this?

I paid $2000+ for a TV and it obviously has a flaw so I am supposed to just deal with it? Also the tech reset my entire tv, losing all of my professional calibration settings (A service i paid $400 for) This is very very sad.
