I've had an LG range for about two years with no problems with how it operates. However - the control panel for the stove has a cheap plastic overlay with the names of the controls; Broiler, Bake, Timer, etc.
after a year or so it began to separate from from the control module and eventually cracked and began peeling away from the stove. The rest of the stove is fine but the control looks horrendous. This cheap piece of plastic isn't sold separately but is sold along with the control module for $100, about 1/8 of what I paid for the entire stove! This should never have failed and if it did should have either been covered or at least be sold at a reasonable price.
I would never buy a stove that would look like garbage after a couple of years of use. I called warranty, customer service & elevated to a manger with no help.
