I purchased a 50" plasma TV from HH Gregg on 8/21/11 and it died on 9/3/11. HH Gregg replaced it for me.

On 7/11/12 it died again. HH Gregg said to call LG as I had not purchased their extended warranty. Called LG and they sent a tech out on 7/13/12. He "diagnosed" the problem, ordered the part, and came back the next week 2 hours late.

That part didn't fix the tv so he said it must be the plasma screen and he would order a new screen. Came the next week (3 hours late) but his boss said that wasn't the problem. He replaced 2 additional boards but guess what...still didnt work. I called LG 3 times while waiting on late technician to complain about service and my defective tv.

The third time was after tech guy didn't repair it. LG said they would send out a factory tech instead of the local appliance repair guy. LG tech came today. Didn't know anything about 3 trips by the local guy concerning what had already been done on the tv.

My wife told him she left him all of the details 3 days ago but he really didn't have anything to say about that. Guess what...he didn't fix it either. Said it was a bad mother board and he would have to order the part. Didn't know when he could back over because he was going to be very busy the next few days.

DON'T BUY AN LG TV!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Samsung is much better!!!!!!!
