Purchased this unit from Best Buy on 2-19-15. Ran great for 8 months than started to sound like a jet engine during the spin cycle.

Spoke to LG tech support on 1-5-16 and was informed that I needed to run the tub clean cycle, no help. Called back on 2-22-16 and was told the unit was out of warranty. Called a local repairman and was told it was a catastrophic failure. Bearings, tub, seals, stader etc all bad.

The cost of repair is more that I paid for the unit.

I will never buy anything LG. I will also tell everyone the same.

Please immediately contact the author of this review to discuss poor customer service of lg electronics repair and associated monetary loss in the amount of $1000. Lg Electronics needs to offer any options to resolve the issue according to poster's claims.
