We bought an LG refrigerator over $3000 that the cooling system went out in at 3 years old. We called the customer service number and they informed we could get a tech to come out next day, and that cooling system is covered by warranty, but the repair company texted to day they needed to reschedule because the original repair order wasn't entered correctly.

And the next day they had was a week away. I called back LG and they couldn't give me any different answer. So basically the LG products are not durable and LG stands by their product at their convenience and the heck with the customer. I will NEVER buy an LG product for the rest of my life!

I've never had this problem with a Whirlpool product.

Figures, LG is a South Korean owned and run company and Whirlpool is a US company out of Michigan. Go US!!!
