Lg Electronics in Morristown, New Jersey - Expensive projector broke just out of warranty
My LG PH300 Projector broke a few months after warranty expired. Your company wants to charge $169 to repair their faulty projector! This is almost 50% of cost of original. What a total scam. I am so disappointed in this response and based on this decision on your company’s part, would never buy an LG projector or any other appliance again. You have just lost a previously loyal customer. I have an LG projector, washer/dryer and fridge. You should provide reasonably priced repair out of warranty - stop gouging your customers buy building things that break on purpose right after warranty to keep getting more and more money out of your customers. This seems like it is all part of your business plan to maximize profits.

Lg Electronics in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey - $2000+ refrigerator broken after 7 years - $450 repair charge only $350 refunded.
we bought an LG french door refrigerator 7 years ago. Within the first year, the water dispenser dripped... and LG sent a repairman to fix. the new dispenser started to drip a few months later... and LG tried to say we were past warranty. After much arguing, asking for managers, etc., I finally got LG to fix the drip. Now it's 6 years later (7 years after purchase) and the freezer doesn't keep ice cream solid... and it no longer makes ice. So, we call LG. they offer a choice between $350 to fix what's wrong OR $450 to fix what's wrong and provide a 1 year warranty. We pick $450. Repairman came and left.... came back 2 weeks later and replaced the two computer boards (one in front, one in back). Freezer starts working again. Two weeks later, freezer stops working... ice cream not solid. We call LG, argue, they refund $350 for the repair... but NOT the $100 for the warranty. First off, I think it's terrible that a $2000+ refrigerator cant be repaired after 7 years.... It's also terrible that the water dispenser had to be fixed twice within the first year. Now LG rips me off for an additional $100 after failing to fix the fridge and not providing any kind of remuneration for a product that fell very short of a normal, useful life? I will never buy another LG product again...

They will not update their Music Flow Googlecast speaker to be fully functional. Sony updated there back in September. They will not give any answer or timeline nor even if they are working on it. They have the worst customer service of any company I have ever been a consumer of. Never again will I buy their products.
