Same here. Rusting around the bleach tray and also all along lower side of the upper rim. We will join the class action lawsuit.

Agree! It’s been almost two weeks and we still can’t get anyone from LG customer service to call us back to schedule a technician to come out and examine our range to find out why the ovens won’t work. We will NEVER purchase another LG appliance!

Hello, same thing is happening to me. Six weeks now living without a refrigerator.

The reason they are delaying you is because they do not have the compressors to replace yours. They have had so many fail that they are on back order in Korea and I am told it will be a minimum of two months before the part is in this country. They are giving you the run around because when this goes public they will have to issue a recall and that will cost them millions. I am filing a small claims suit against them because if they cannot provide the necessary part to repair the refrigerator then they are in breach of their warranty.

Please do the same, do not let them get away with it. I have also contacted my State Attorney General's Office, The Federal Trade Commission and Consumer Affairs, you should too!!!

The more federal agencies involved hopefully the faster a recall is issued. Good luck!!!

we bought an LG french door refrigerator 7 years ago. Within the first year, the water dispenser dripped... and LG sent a repairman to fix. the new dispenser started to drip a few months later... and LG tried to say we were past warranty. After much arguing, asking for managers, etc., I finally got LG to fix the drip. Now it's 6 years later (7 years after purchase) and the freezer doesn't keep ice cream solid... and it no longer makes ice. So, we call LG. they offer a choice between $350 to fix what's wrong OR $450 to fix what's wrong and provide a 1 year warranty. We pick $450. Repairman came and left.... came back 2 weeks later and replaced the two computer boards (one in front, one in back). Freezer starts working again. Two weeks later, freezer stops working... ice cream not solid. We call LG, argue, they refund $350 for the repair... but NOT the $100 for the warranty. First off, I think it's terrible that a $2000+ refrigerator cant be repaired after 7 years.... It's also terrible that the water dispenser had to be fixed twice within the first year. Now LG rips me off for an additional $100 after failing to fix the fridge and not providing any kind of remuneration for a product that fell very short of a normal, useful life? I will never buy another LG product again...

Our french door/bottom freezer refrigerator is 4 yrs and 7 months old and no longer works! I called in our home warranty company to be told that the problem was in the sealed area that is still under warranty.

I then called LG and they dispatched their A&E (Sears) who determined that parts in the Seal System (drier assembly and valve assembly) were defective, parts were ordered. I’ve learned from this site that that my unit is still covered under the LG 7 year Sealed System and 10 year Compressor guarantee. A tech came and installed the parts and said before she left that based on the results she got she didn’t think it would work but wait 24 hours, which I did. I called to inform LG that the refrigerator was still not working, they dispatched A&E once again.

A month to the day a technician arrived at my home at 10:36 AM and left about 4 hrs later after performing every test imaginable to determine that the frig was “not fixable”, his words. He stated that LG would be in contact which did not happen, I had to call them. LG stated that the A&E tech had not done everything they were supposed to do which I find absolutely ridiculous. He performed test after test, took pictures and I believe video and was on the phone with LG.

I have talked to LG multiple times, I spoke to Janita on 11/10/16 in the Executive Service department who was not very helpful. I called this department again on 11/16/16 and finally spoke with someone, Jenna, who seemed to care. She sent me an email that I attached my purchase invoice and the A&E service tickets to and immediately emailed it back to the Executive Service department. She said it could take 4-5 days for a decision but I never heard back from her.

I called the same department again on 11/22/16 and spoke with Janita, again, to be told that the info I emailed on the 16 had not been sent to the Returns Department for review.

We returned home on 10/8/16 from a wonderful vacation to find a freezer full of food completely defrosted which means the unit probably stopped working at least 4 days before our return. It is now 11/23/16, Thanksgiving eve and we still do not have a refrigerator. I have had to cancel thanksgiving at my home and believe me LG (Life’s Good) could care less!!

I will never buy another LG product…ever!!!

Oh, by the way we also have a 4 yr old LG washer and dryer and the washing machine had to be serviced about a year ago!! NEVER AGAIN!!!

I am now on my third LG G4. Broke down with the LG Loop fault 4 months ago and I lost my photos and contacts. Now the new phone LG replaced it with (LG G4) did the same thing and I lost all my photos and contacts again. Sprint is replacing this time. They offered me a less expensive HTC because they said they can't guarantee the LG G4 won't break down again. LG should offer a discount on a different comparable model instead of replacing faulty phones. As much as I like the LG G4; not sure I want to invest in another LG unless LG can offer me something for all the headaches
