I had bought LG TV recently. The manual is short and formal, having no significant information needed for purchaser. My contacts with the company were unsuccessful, either on phone, through email, or on their web-site chat. I had never received an answer for any of my question. The style is the same - put me on long hold and then discontinued the call. Extremely impolite and unprofessional! I would not recommend anybody to buy anything from LG. Abbreviation LG means . But that is only for the company, not for their customers. I have a question for u - where I can download DETAILED instruction for my TV? not the same I got when bought TV. I need all info there in detailed. Do you have such on? There is no Cinema 3D glasses supplied, but they are included in item list Another question - is the power indicator on front pannel supposed to be always on with red light? Is it possible to make it off, because it is a little bit annoying? First of all, the Joystick button is not working. There is no Cinema 3D glasses supplied, though they are included in the item list Then the power indicator on front pannel is always on with red light. The TV instruction (38 pages) included in the package does not provide enough information in order to operate unit properly. I need DETAILED instruction, not the same I got when I bought TV. E.g. not clear what all those options mean? Such as Live TV and so on.

Lg Electronics in Brooklyn, New York - Tv warranty

I was having trouble with my tv do I called to have someone come out to service my tv on 8/2/13. The tech came and stated it was the tv panel that needed to be replaced. I paid for the service to be done and was assured by LG ( both technician and service rep I spoke with to schedule service) that I would be covered under warranty if the tv has the same problem. A day after the tech came to replace the panel, I was experiencing the same problem. I called LG back and after waiting almost 2 weeks the tech finally came back toy house. The tech then informed me that the tv needs the motherboard replaced and that Piece needed is now discontinued. I spoke with a supervisor in regards to this and the only answer I received was since target can no longer supply me with a proof of purchase ( time lapsed for target to retrieve a receipt, they did try) that there was nothing more that can be done. This is not proper customer service and I would not expect this from a huge company like LG. At this point I am out of a tv, paid for service that lasted a day, have a warranty for 3 months and I still have to repurchase a brand new tv. I wanted to know what accommodation can be done for me at this point of the inconvenience that I have experienced with LG Thank you in advance

Please take my advice. Don't buy an LG tv. I paid over $3,000 for a 50 inch plasma in Dec 2006. I also bought a 4 year extended warrantee from the dealer. It broke down two months later and LG replaced it. Now the replacement has broken down twice since. Now the 2 year warrantee is up and the dealer i bought from went bankrupt and no one will cover the warrantee. Ive contacted LG numerous times about the piece of *** i bought from them and they told me I'm *** out of luck. I bought a lemon. I guess I got two lemons. Coincidence? I think not. It's going out on the curb tonight. Don't buy LG.

i WENT INTO THE GENEVA STORE TODAY TO PAY OFF OUR TV. LAST MONTH I WAS TOLD YOU OWE $65 PLUS THEN YOUR TV WILL BE PAID OFF. TODAY IT WAS $129 PLUS. SO I PD IT OFF, I GET A DIFFERENT PRICE EVERY TIME FOR A PAY OFF!! I THEN ASKED FOR THE BRACKET THAT GOES ON THE BACK TO MOUNT IT TO THE WALL AS WE WERE TOLD AFTER THE TV IS PAID OFF YOU CAN HAVE THE BRACKET UNTIL THEN THE TV CAN NOT BE MOUNTED - OK FINE - WELL TODAY OH NO YOU DON'T GET A BRACKET AND PROCEEDED TO TELL US THAT IS WHY THE MANAGER IS GONE. SO TOMARROW AS I RENTED A FREEZER I WILL PAY THAT OFF AND NO MORE RENT A CENTER. DONE WITH IT AND BELIEVE ME WE SPENT THOUSANDS THERE. YOU CAN SAY I AM PISSED! Lg Electronics in Buffalo, New York - Don't buy LG TV's

In Nov. 2010 we bought an LG 42" LCD TV. We loved it. It costs us over $700. and both me and my spouse are retired... that's a lot of money for us.... so when they asked in the store if we wanted extra warranty we said "no". Never thinking a brand new TV would break that soon. We had our last TV for 15 yrs! Well in January 2012 just 14 months after purchasing it... it broke. We sent it to an LG approved dealer and he said it would cost more to fix the TV than you paid for it. I dont' know about you, but this seems to me that it must have been a factory defect or something. Yet, when we called LG about it, all the foreign sounding person said to us was.... "well, you should have bought the extended warranty". So if you want to pay $700 or more for the use of a TV for 13 months.... LG is the TV for you! Me? I'll never touch another LG product. They stink and so does their customer service.

LG Plasma Televisions....BEWARE !!!!!!!!!!!!!! For anyone considering purchasing any LG plasma television, please read this very carefully. My name is William Abbate. I had a very horrible experience with LG. I spent nearly $5000 on a 50PY2DR set. Within 2 years of use, if you want to even call it that, it was broken. Keep in mind that I own numerous televisions and, this set was barely even used. I contacted LG with my concern and, they offered to pay for the part/parts and I would foot the bill for the service. Naturally, they chose the cheapest way out and only replaced the Y-board. Shortly after this horrific experience, after my floors were scratched to ***, low and behold...the television was broken again. This time it was outside of the warranty period. LG recommended one of their repair places near our home in Greenwich, CT. The technician was kind and astute enough to inform me that an improper repair was done originally which caused the tv to brake again. Both boards were suppossed to be replaced, not one. LG figured they would take the cheap way out. I would have to come back to them in the future when my tv broke again in a short period of time. DO NOT deal with this company. They are NOT REPUTABLE. Their customer service agents in Huntsville, AL are idiots with barely a pulse. I WOULD NEVER, EVER purchase one of their products ever again. In fact, I wouldn't even take one for free. They DO NOT care about customer retention. They are merely interested with making an initial sale. Bottom Line: Their products are subpar...in fact, they suck !!! Management should review their customer experiences. I understand that the Koreans really do not care about customer retention. Their interest lies only in making a sale. BEWARE !!!!!!!!!
