Electric range stopped working after less than a year old. This happened in August and here we are in October and still nothing. Every time I call customer service, I get a different story. The tech said he could not repair the range as the necessary piece was not...

Same story as ours. Will send another tech out, never happens and was told and approved for a replacement (call center is in the Philippines) then was denied saying another tech needs to look at it.

No one in our area will do warranty work...after 8 weeks, still not honoring their warranty which should be a repair or replacement in a reasonable time.

Hold times are ridiculous, I have also spent hours on hold waiting as you. Anyone looking at a LG appliance, DONT BUY LG!!

Update by user Jan 11, 2013

Here's the deal. Even though LG told me they weren't aware of the problem...they were! That is why they deleted the 12/5 update and replaced it with the 12/8 update.

After waiting and waiting, LG told me that they didn't have the BP125s in stock and was waiting...

LG Optimus F6 Total disappointment Low memory issues | Lg Electronics review from New York, New York

LG Optimus F6 Total disappointment Low memory issues - Lg Electronics review
Was looking to upgrade my old phone and cell provider was having a sale.So I thought I would give LG a try. Nice looking phone. Specs seemed ok for what I was looking for at the moment. The problem was the phone comes with so many apps preloaded that they take up most of the memory. Was able to uninstall a few, but can only delete data on others NOT uninstall so the memory is not freed up. Now if I try to add an app, all I see is low memory, install failed.Even worse is, if u want to update an app, you can't because you don't have enough memory or you have to delete an app you added so you can update an old one.Even moving the app to SD card is no help. :-( Totally disappointed. Will never recommend or buy an LG phone again.

So which phone did you have? The new LG Ultimate 2 has 8 GB with maybe 4.8 available, so I am told, which is an improvement from the 4 GB with maybe .8 free. Which phone are you reviewing?

My galaxy 4 has 1/3 of my total memory full of bloatware. I have used an app in the past that told me which ones could be uninstalled.

I wouldn't know on my own. When I removed the Google books then I wasn't able to play the Bible which was an app of choice. However from my experience after removing updates then I had to force stop. It always warns it may cause other apps to misbehave and it does.

I didn't know about rooting until I read the other comment. IT SHOULD ALWAYS BE THE OWNERS CHOICE AS TO WHAT WE PUT ON OUR PHONES.

most phones are like this. you gotta be extra careful these days.

don't fall for the highlighted or noted features as many people get suckered in by them and don't bother to realize that a good portion of the memory is eaten up by the preloaded apps.

I suggest buying one and getting it rooted so you can have full control over it. that's what I plan to do on my next upgrade.

so much memory + space is taken up by ***/bloatware that it makes your head spin. Ive seen unlocked/rooted phones with so much free space/memory that it too makes your head spin realizing how much space these companies waste putting the programs on the phones in the first place.

LG Dishwasher LDF 6920SD DESIGN FLAW | Lg Electronics review from New York, New York

1.0
Details
I bought this dishwasher from Home Depot approximately 2 years ago as a floor model. I was told the factory warranty was for one year. Immediately after it was installed it never cleaned the dishes, I called my own repair in and he said call LG it is under warranty. After numerous call to your consumer help desk I was given a variety of suggestions: change the detergent, run the hot water first, nothing is wrong with the dishwasher, or change the heater coil. All of the repair people are very far from me and none would come. Now after rinsing my dishes and putting them in the dishwasher, they come out worse then when I put them in!!! I called the repair man again and he told me that this model has a design flaw and it will cost over $500 to repair it. Why didn't LG send out a recall, I can't find this model on any of your sites, so my thoughts are that you have tried to remove all evidence that you ever made such a terrible model. Why should I be forced to pay all this additional money for a "design flaw" made by LG. I need to replace the panel board and the motor! I was so happy finally to have purchased good dishwasher instead of the Kenmore I was replacing (which I had for 15 years). Please tell me what LG intends to do, this type of treatment is 100% unacceptable, Ruth Cardace rcardace@gmail.com 516 282 6438

Horrible customer service, bad manual | Lg Electronics review from New York, New York

I had bought LG TV recently. The manual is short and formal, having no significant information needed for purchaser. My contacts with the company were unsuccessful, either on phone, through email, or on their web-site chat. I had never received an answer for any of my question. The style is the same - put me on long hold and then discontinued the call. Extremely impolite and unprofessional! I would not recommend anybody to buy anything from LG. Abbreviation LG means . But that is only for the company, not for their customers. I have a question for u - where I can download DETAILED instruction for my TV? not the same I got when bought TV. I need all info there in detailed. Do you have such on? There is no Cinema 3D glasses supplied, but they are included in item list Another question - is the power indicator on front pannel supposed to be always on with red light? Is it possible to make it off, because it is a little bit annoying? First of all, the Joystick button is not working. There is no Cinema 3D glasses supplied, though they are included in the item list Then the power indicator on front pannel is always on with red light. The TV instruction (38 pages) included in the package does not provide enough information in order to operate unit properly. I need DETAILED instruction, not the same I got when I bought TV. E.g. not clear what all those options mean? Such as Live TV and so on.

LG refused to reimburse me installation cost of a new and defecive LG gas range. | Lg Electronics review from New York, New York

I purchased an expensive LG gas range. The first time I turned on the over, the heat escaping through the vents was so hot it started to burn my new kitchen cabinets. I couldn't place my hand next to it -- it was like placing it over a fire. I then tested the temperature by placing a theremometer on my kitchen counter next to the stove and then I turned on the oven again. Within 20 minutes the heat melted the thermometer. THE STOVE WAS A FIRE HAZARD. LG refused to remove the stove even with all the evidence I presented and even after an independent inspector confirmed the stove is a fire hazard. Not until I threatened to call in the fire department did LG agree to removiing the stove and to reimburse me. It took a lot of time, stress, and fighting. And still LG refuses to reimburse me the cost of installing that fire hazard. I had to pay another installment fee to replace the LG gas range with one I bought from a different company. LG is another one of those global companies that are sending their *** all over the world. They have a USA based CEO for LG home appliances, but it is IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND THE ADDRESS OF HIS HEADQUARTERS. I thought all companies doing business in USA states were required to make public the address of their headquarters. Obviously, no one is enforcing this rule. I will never again buy anything made by LG.

LG Gas Range | Lg Electronics review from New York, New York

We bought an LG gas range from Home Depot with the exteneded warranty. Immediately upon delivery the repairman said there was something wrong with the front left burner valve and we oviously could not use it. Noone would exchange it, repairman have come to the house twice early on - first to ascertain there was a problem, then to bring a part that turned out to be the wrong part sent by LG. weeks passec by, including Easter, and I repeatedly called LG, to be told that someone would get back to me, it was now with the returns dept and they would call, etc. Not one persone from LG ever called. The latest today is that they now have the part and the repair center would call. They, the independent appliance repair contractor, have at least been responsive. The moral is that if you buy an appliance from LG, you face months of having a non working or semi functional appliance in your home.

LG sold me a $400 lemon | Lg Electronics review from New York, New York

In June 2010, I purchased an LG air conditioner. Over the next 13 months, I used the unit for 5 months. Then it broke. I called LG. They provided terrible customer service and refused to make an exception on the limited warranty. Facing $275 in repairs, I decided to do this: http://vimeo.com/live432/sayonara Later this week, I'm sending this philm to LG's customer service department, a few of their upper management execs, and blasting it all over the social sphere. My qualm is based on principle, not reimbursement. Enjoy and thanks for watching. -Phil 100.
