Lg Electronics in Hayesville, North Carolina - Lcd board went bad after 4 months, took month and half for them to fix

one morning we had a green line down the middle of the tv. We called LG and they took 2 weeks to get someone to fix it and now another 2 weeks to be told that the part will not be in til the end of the month. We will have been without it for over 6 weeks and they refuse to replace the tv. All LG seems to care about is fixing at what ever expense to consumer at the consumers inconvenience at cost. I have expressed to them that I feel the tv is a lemon and that we would like to have it replaced and also that it is a complete inconvenience to have spent a thousand dollars on a tv and be without it for that long after only 4 months. I would not recommend LG>

Lg Electronics in Wilmington, North Carolina - Poor Customer Service

I purchased (2) pair of 3D Glasses for my 3D TV. The TV came without glasses. They have to be purchased separately. The glasses shut off continually every 10 minutes. Turns out there is a feature in the glasses that causes this to happen. LG fixed the problem and offers to replace the old version with the new version. When I contacted them to have my glasses exchanged they refused because I bought them through Ebay. The glasses were in a sealed box and never opened. LG claims Ebay is not a preferred supplier and they will not exchange to glasses. It should not make any difference where an item is purchased. They, LG, produced glasses with a defect and should replace them no matter where they were purchased. This is one of the worst customer service policies I have ever come across.

I've been trying to get a 3 year old LG TROMM washer fixed for a month. This was their top-of-the-line product in 2010 when we bought it.

The servicer (extended warranty) has been out 3 times. Each time they can't fix it we wait another week for them to come back. Talked to LG directly on the phone and they blew me off. Twice.

What a horrible company. No more LG for me.

Two days after registering this complaint I received an email from LG indicating that the replacement glasses were shipping that day. Two days later they arrived. Not sure if this complaint had anything to do with it, but their turn around was surprising.

Lg Electronics in Charlotte, North Carolina - LG sold me a defective plasma TV

I purchased a 50" plasma TV from HH Gregg on 8/21/11 and it died on 9/3/11. HH Gregg replaced it for me. On 7/11/12 it died again. HH Gregg said to call LG as I had not purchased their extended warranty. Called LG and they sent a tech out on 7/13/12. He "diagnosed" the problem, ordered the part, and came back the next week 2 hours late. That part didn't fix the tv so he said it must be the plasma screen and he would order a new screen. Came the next week (3 hours late) but his boss said that wasn't the problem. He replaced 2 additional boards but guess what...still didnt work. I called LG 3 times while waiting on late technician to complain about service and my defective tv. The third time was after tech guy didn't repair it. LG said they would send out a factory tech instead of the local appliance repair guy. LG tech came today. Didn't know anything about 3 trips by the local guy concerning what had already been done on the tv. My wife told him she left him all of the details 3 days ago but he really didn't have anything to say about that. Guess what...he didn't fix it either. Said it was a bad mother board and he would have to order the part. Didn't know when he could back over because he was going to be very busy the next few days. DON'T BUY AN LG TV!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Samsung is much better!!!!!!!
