Lg Electronics in Mississauga, Ontario - So bad phone customer service

When it comes to customer service please know that I know what I'm talking about because that has been my profession for many years. I have never, ever experienced such blatantly rude customer service.I bought a TV as a Christmas gift and it had no screws or any hardware in the box so I called the 1 888 number for Canada and there I met the rudest people ever. The first two people I spoke with could not care less. One told me that I had to return the TV because it was Costco’s problem but the box was sealed when I got it. The other one told me to call the Canada number but this was listed as the Canada Number. I asked where she was located and she said Panama.The best way for you to get the picture would be to listen to the recordings and that will tell the whole story. They were rude confrontational and lied.The third person called himself George but I doubt it’s true. This guy was absolutely incredible. He said he was from Texas, was so confrontational and rudely mimicked me as I told him I was so fed up I wanted to return the TV. He actually mode me lose my temper he was that ignorant. When I asked to talk to his supervisor he hung up on me.I would have returned the TV but it was already given as a gift. I still had not at this point gotten any results about the screws.Finally the last person, Hector, gave me a case number said that he was happy to send the screws and gave me the name of the manager (Victor) but I have never heard from him.I sent written letters to two locations in Mississauga addressed to the Customer Service manage but have never received a response. I believe that no one at LG cares about customer service.Product Code: 42LM3499-UCACCWLUR. Lg Electronics in Ottawa, Ontario - LG Televisions

Bought model 50PK550 TV just over a year ago. Now it doesn't turn on. It is just three months out of warranty. Purchase price is $700. Repair cost is $300. Customer service guy basically said "Oh well, too bad" and did nothing to help. He said "you should have got the extended warranty". I wouldn't buy ANY TV that only is expected to last one year. His suggestion is disparaging and quite insulting. Don't buy an LG TV. You will regret it. It is a complete waste of money. I am looking to buy a second TV. You can be sure it won't be made by LG.

I'm not quite sure why most of these people are so pissed. If you don't buy an extended warranty, and your item fails after the factory warranty expires, the manufacturer is NOT required to solve your problem. You all just muddy the waters for those who have legitimate complaints.

I am very unahppy because none of my over a dozen cross-head screwdrivers fit the screws for the TV base. I called customer support and they advised me that it is an M4x20 screw.

This may be a metric/pozidrive screw, or something else. Not supplying a compatible screw for U.S. customers, and not properly advising U.S. consumers in the users guide what we need to do a correct assembly is a major problem that this manufacturer is creating.

At the least, they should advise what screwdriver is required or supply a screwdriver that fits.

This makes what is a potentially excellent TV look like garbage. I also hate buying a screwdriver just for this TV, and never needing to use it again.

This lack of concern for the American consumer is terrible--how could they be so throghtless?

I tried continuously to find a human to talk to about a simple aggrovation I will go back to USA products even though they cost 3 times as much. Indian help could not even give me a number to LG Consumer support. I will never again buy LG.

Lg Electronics in Toronto, Ontario - Sold Me A Piece of Junk

LG LCD TV 32LH30 An absolute piece of junk. Purchased in November of 2009. Used less than 25 hours, then had to leave town for almost 6 months. On return, system dead. LG replaced two modules under warranty. Used less than 5 hours, then had to leave town for another 6 + months. On return – you guessed it, system dead and showing exactly the same symptoms as before. You probably already know – system now out of warranty. Something very strange with power supply – probably burning out the same module over again. No way that I am willing to pay one cent to try to have this beast repaired again. Everyone should also beware of the LG web site. It purports to let us write product reviews. Can tell you – if your review is the least bit critical it somehow gets lost and does not appear on their site. An actual experience I had in reviewing this TV.

LG tv's suck dont bye unless you have time to fight to get them fixed my tv is just passed the warrenty date and it turns on and off by it self and yes it is not the batteries i changed them 3 times i turn it on and it turns off and on like a ghost.......THIS TV WAS TO REPLACE THE ONE I BOUGHT LAST YEAR AT LEONS AND I HAD TO FIGHT TO GET IT FIXED IT TOOK THEM 3 MOUNTHS TO GET IT FIXED IT COULD NOT BE FIXED SO I HAD TO GET A NEW ONE I DID NOT WANT TO BYE IT FROM LEONS I WANTED MY MONEY BACK AND I HAD TO BYE A NEW ONE IN STORE CREADIT SO I GOT lg

Bought an LG TV last year and had problems ever since. LG changed the main board in the TV 4-5 times in December and now the problem is back and they won't do anything to fix it.

Yes it is still in warranty.

Buyer Beware thought I bought a good TV and wound up with a lemon. Last LG product I will buy!

Bought lg plasma dec.2008 very little usage tv screen went black no extended warrenty was offered at the time of purchace tv screen went black still have sound no picture bought philips plasma 3 yrs earlier still up and running no problems lg you suck your warrenty sucks and your crstomer service is left to answer for your failer I will never purchace an lg product again

The current LG tv that's sitting in the living room cannot detect and new hardware other than the cable box. I went through all the solutions to try to get it to recognize anything else.

A geek squad worker told me that there is nothing he can do. This 1080i tv displays HD at an SD standard. When I asked another tech specialist how I can avoid this issue, he said DONT BUY LG GARBAGE.

LG is a horrible company! Their products build quality is always ***
