We bought an LG oven in 2014, and it has been an absolute nightmare to get quality customer service. We filed a warranty upon purchase and installed the unit in our newly remodeled kitchen.
Upon installation the installer noticed the range knobs had were melted! We hadn't even used the unit and melted knobs! We complained to LG and after LG reluctance and stubbornness they sent 5 new knobs that melted after 3 uses of the upper oven (the cause of the melting), which we complained again and nothing. Furthermore, we called many times and many times were offered new knobs, but the Postal Service must have thrown them away as LG took no responsibility!
Sound familiar? This company is not reliable, nor credible and cares little for customer concerns! Buy Wolf or any other name brand, but not LG! Their support sucks, the stove top finish doesn't clean very nicely and there way overpriced!
We paid: $1,619.00 for a $500.00 value piece of crap after fairly good ratings!
Do Not Purchase an LG brand double oven glass range! You'll be sorry you did!
