Will update review if they at least try to fix the refrigerator free of cost, I’ve lost hundreds of dollars on perished food and you want me to pay you for a repair on a defective item you sold to the public at full price. I don’t think so.

Bought a brand new refrigerator 5 years ago, paid approximately $3000 for it and it broke after 2 years, the compressor was defective which was part of a class A lawsuit which we won, my refrigerator was fixed free of charge and since then it broke two more times. LG said they will cover the compressor but not the labor fee which is $500! If its not the compressor they will not cover it and I will be responsible for the whole thing. I was forced to buy a new one (NOT LG) will never buy LG ever again!! The brand is trash, I should have known since their TVs are also garbage. I should have stuck with Whirlpool which has never failed me, I surely regret it.LG, if youre reading this and not willing to at least repair it free of cost, just come and get this POS or tell me where to drop it off. I already lost lots of money on food I had to dispose of!

In July 2022 I purchased an LG refrigerator from the Home Depot in May at 23. The refrigerator began to have issues and not keeping the groceries called and the ice cream was beginning to melt in the freezer section. I contacted Lg in early June and they said that they were going to find someone to repair the refrigerator they did not or could not. They said they were going to refund my money and or replace the refrigerator. 12 weeks later we still have not received an email, our money back or a refrigerator replacement. I have contacted them once a week they assured me that they are escalating my claim and have given me claim numbers for my records by now Im sure my escalation is somewhere up there orbiting the Earth nothing is being done. I have contacted an attorney and do intend to sue for three times the amount I paid for this blankety-blank refrigerator. I have to drive 30 miles one way to get groceries for one day as the refrigerator is approximately 65 on the inside and cannot even keep simple fruit cool enough This is really sad so no more leftovers for my husbands lunch no milk for my little granddaughter, no fresh fruit, sour cream cottage cheese, so much that I can no longer do and it has been long enough I think and still no response from them. I went to the Home Depot. They told me to contact Lg I tried to find corporate leaders, and Lg only to discover that they are absolutely out of reach their service Calls are outsourced, and the poor people there have no resources cannot even reach out to Lg themselves.

LG refrigerator broke, purchased the extended warranty...been 4 days and they say there is no one in my area to fix it, they will call when they get someone...CANT SPEAK TO ANYONE IN THE U.S.A...can barely understand their broken English and they don't know what they are doing, multiple calls, hrs on hold and no resolve except sit here and wait with no refrigerator and not to mention losing all our groceries!!! THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE IN THE U.S.A...LG socks and so does the extended warranty!!!Stay away from LG

Bought a LG range model LSE L6335F 18 months ago. Used broil function lettering of oven *** on underside came off. Initially after calling LG customer service was promised replacement *** Several weeks passed called again was told case will be reviewed and will receive call back. Weeks later 3d call was told my was not elevated whatever that meansand I am out off the warranty period and would have to pay for *** So all in all I spend 3 hours on the phone with LG customer service what a waste!! Will not buy another LG product saw several complaints of stove *** lettering coming off . LG is producing cheap appliances and their customer service just puts you on hold guess tiring out a customer always works!

Poor quality ice makers and poor customer service

I purchased a LG Refrigerator (Model No. LRFVC2406, a French door model) on July 25, 2021. The Craft Ice Maker failed 3 times by Dec. 28, 2022. LG replaced it at no cost to me, but their Customer Service department gave me the run around before they agreed to do that. The In Door ice maker on this unit stopped dispensing ice correctly in early July of 2023. I called LG Customer Service again, and they again gave me the run around when I said I felt they should pay for the service call since the refrigerator is less than 2 years old, and it was expensive ($3,640). I talked to 2 Customer Service Reps, Celeste first, then her supervisor Jay. They refused to honor my request that LG pay for the $135 service call given that the refrigerator is still so new. I told them both that I was going to post a negative review of them online. So, here it is. LG refrigerators have poor quality ice makers that are prone to failure. They also have very poor Customer Service. I regret buying this refrigerator, and I will never buy another LG product!

Cordless stick vacuum was advertised at the promotion offer with: 30% off at checkout and you also will get a free Total Care Kit. I received only vacuum but never Total Care Kit. I was told that I had to put it at checkout otherwise I'm not entitled to get it and they refused to ship it to me. The add was never mentioned this condition, only the main item with 30% promo code shall be added.

Very upset...

Had problems w freezer making ice. Tech came out, it cost us 445.00. Guy was rude and very unsocialable. He replaced a bunch of things. Said if it didn't work to call them again. I did and they were supposed to expedite it so they said they would call within 4 days. No call of course. Called again and then they were booked up for a solid week when they said they would get some one out right away which they didn't follow through w their promise. We already paid for something that didn't work and now the refrigerator isn't getting as cold now. We are at our end of patience here. I will not buy another LG refrigerator again!!! This is just half of the problems I've had w them. You can say I'm beyond pissed

Im sure Im wasting my time and energy writing this message but here goes anyway. On may 5 th we bought a LG French door refrigerator that was delivered on may 11rh. On June 28 we notice the refrigerator had stop cooling the double drawer freezer part was still working but was frosting over. We called LG on the 29th of June to get a repairman out here to fix a less then 2 month old refrigerator,one that is not only needed to kept everyday food in it but also to keep all my insulin refrigerated, over $3.000 worth as I get a 3 month supply. We kept said insulin and Milk for grandkids ages 2 and 5 cold , after a week of no repairman, we decided to go by a small $399.00 refrigerator to keep above mentioned items refrigerated. This is no cheap refrigerator we bought from LG, I know LG has already had a class action lawsuit for no cooling refrigerator, you would think you all would of learned your lesson. We have spent hours on the phone to customer service and as this morning no one after being transferred 3 times can tell us where or even if the part is ordered. To be very honest I am about ready to call my best friend that owns 5 public relations radio stations to have our interactions with LG , we truly are at that point. Also I am not going to be truly happy until the refrigerator is either fixed or replaced, and someone pays for the $399.00 spent to keep my medicine cool, that is sad that we bought a top of the line appliance and had to go spend money to have a refrigerator to keep milk for grand kids that live with us and life saving medicine cool.. We could of went a bought a $ 400.00 cheap refrigerator that would more then likely still be running after 2 months in fact a little less then two months before it quit cooling. Again Im sure I just wasted 5 minutes of my life writing this email, in closing I hope your refrigerator never goes out and half to wake going on 3 weeks and still have no ideal when it will be fix. Frustrating and Disappointed with customer service on LG refrigerator. waited 6 days for scheduled appointment. Ridiculous especially for a 2 yr Lg refrigerator compressor and compute board not working!!! I purchased this at Lowes for my single daughter and my 3 little grandchildren. How and why would LGs service dept make a family of Four wait 6 days for repair in weather that is over 100 plus degrees all this time! Unacceptable !!! Tomorrow is our scheduled day. no time window or confirmation as of yet. Unbelievable.. they better come through. Tried to get tech to come sooner , not good communications. Lg corporate please help!!!

5 attempts to have one question answered.

On LG USAs website to file an ethics complaint, and only that page not loading. I dont know how to upload that here, so besides that, there is no reason for the following: -Theres 4 or 5 user manuals for their A/C on their website -Not 1/5 employees are capable of providing a link to the correct unit -Ironically, every agent disconnected me (Im sure it was an error, as they said, because Im in chattin on a mobile device). -These five different people back to back within a second know what had happened this entire time, even without me mentioning things and using different appliances to get to the chat. I wish I could at least post screenshots here! The corporate greed, selfishness, and consumer abuse has to end. Ill live off the grid before I pay *** companies that treat consumers as trash.

LG is a terrible in service and honoring their legal obligation company they must not be in business in USA.

I have an LG 3 doors refrigerator model LFX31945ST / 02 couple of years back the compressor died on me, luckily I was in their bogus 10 years compressor warranty and got the part and still had to pay for repair and installation. Recently I noticed the ice maker is making condensation ice outside the ice maker bucket and I called an appliance repair company they came out and called for me LG to provide the icemaker parts, so they can replace it for me. On August 23rd 2023 LG refused to provide the new ice maker saying this is VERY TYPICAL AND STANDARD FOR LG REFRIGERATORS TO MAKE ICE OUTSIDE ICE MAKER. I was completely shocked and disappointed and called LG on August 28th 2023 today myself and spoke to Ms. Ann, she told me the same. On researching online LG had a CLASS ACTION A lawsuit back in 2020 settled for not cooling issued and extended 10 years warranty by another 5 years which I think should have been another 20 years because LG is the rip-off company and selling very poor appliances to USA consumers who are losing in millions and possibly in billions depending on how many like me are deprived of this warranty gimmick. There must be another CLASS ACTION A lawsuit brought up on LG to ensure they file for BANKRUPTCY and get out of USA business selling deceptive products and cheating consumers of the USA.

Bought an LG refrig that doesnt cool at all so could never put food in there from day 1. Call LG and told to wait 2-4 days for a response - ok? But I did wait and and then no one calls - I call back - they say they sent a message to repair facility but will do it again - same response - NONE - call back again as 2 weeks have gone by still stuck with worthless refrig - a service company calls back and says no one will work on this system of refrigerator and LG KNEW THAT THE ENTIRE TIME - beyond disgusted with LG - its been a month and we are still stuck with this hunk of junk and terrible LG Response.

No help with refrigerator

Hi pissedconsumer Well still dealing with lg to get our $1696.00 dollar refrigerator fix or replaced( note we also bought the 5 year protection plan from Lowes). As of today we revived a phone call at 514pm and was on phone with a representative of Lg explaining she was the one setting up the exchange of refrigerator as we were on phone she sent the fallowing text. Inline image Inline image Then with end 15 minutes we revived this text from LG. Inline image Inline image Also on the last text it said please disregard the last. All this happen with in 30 minutes, also woukd like to point out that the last text Says as we Discussed, we never Discussed anything about a refund. So they prorated $891.19 to use the refrigerator for a month and 3 weeks. Of course when we call the extended warranty it goes directly to Lg (LOL). So we are going to see if Lowes can help us out I feel if they sell this product they should be partly responsible to rectify this.
