Im not happy with the 2024 LW6024RY 6,000 BTU window room air conditioner because its too loud, it vibrates, its hard to sleep. So im going to buy the new dual inverter model, all my research has convinced me to buy it.

I think maybe its wearing out somehow something may be broken inside and its apparently out of warranty.

This is extremely poor customer service.
I did get another message from [PERSON_NAME] and they're sending out a repairman again . This will be the 3rd time trying to fix the same problem and each time it never gets fixed.
My husband checked the water filter and said it didn't have water in it. I called LG; you sent me another water filter. We thought it might be working. Two months later, we checked it; it still was not working.
I called the repairman; he put in all new lines but couldn't get it to work. He brought out another filter; it doesn't work. Two or three times a day, the refrigerator will make a loud popping sound.
For lack of words, my daughter, who is 53, made a statement that it sounded like there was someone inside the refrigerator trying to get out. There is something wrong with the refrigerator.

It then quit heating at all. I went to LG customer service, and after the expiration of the one-year warranty, I could start paying to repair their poor quality product.
I filled out the form, and after a week and a half, I have not heard back from anyone. I tried to talk to them on a phone call today, and the guy's English grasp was horrible; eventually, he just hung up on me.

The company DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING and DID NOT fix any issues; I resolved this on my own thought bank dispute. LG LLOST THE PRODUCT THEMSELVES THEN LITERALLY DID NOTHING.
The payment was processed and finalized. LG printed a UPS label and marked the order completed and shipped. From that point forward, UPS never received the product. I attempted to resolve this with LG 3 times.
The first was an email to customer service that went unanswered. A week later I called customer service and explained the situation, to which they acknowledge there is a problem. They stated the warehouse has to 'investigate' and I will receive an update within 72 hrs.
Another week later and no response, I call customer service again and explained I am looking for an update from my call last week. The Customer Service rep then states a completely different problem.
I corrected the CS and they acknowledged and stated they understood the problem. All they can do is escalate it for review, another 72 hrs. (No mention of the first review). A week later and no response from LG, I decided to go forward with a chargeback credit dispute.
Over a month later and 2 weeks after I opened a dispute, I get a generic email from LG with 6 or 8 random people CC'd.
This email has a return shipping label for me to print and return the item and then they'll refund. **They want me to return an item they never sent me**. I professionally replied and pointed out their mistake.
2 days later I win my dispute. There was never ever any question about who was at fault and what happened.
It was clear to everyone, including those at LG, that LG made the error, yet not one single person at LG, no one, could make good on what was such a clear error. Think about it like this as well: If I was truly waiting this ENTIRE time for LG to get back to me about the undelivered item, over a month later they tried to force an entirely inappropriate response/resolution. This is not by accident, it is by design. They made a mistake, but want me to just give up and let them keep my money.
Thye purposefully move slow to make customers miss any dispute windows. (Lets also keep in mind the 'lost' product was lost on LG's side which mean its literally still sitting on shelf in an LG warehouse somewhere; I lost money, they lost NOTHING).
**In my situation, the ONLY way to resolve it was a chargeback dispute, even though LG knew they made an error**
I will no longer buy from LG.com or any LG products for that matter.
I went to a brick and mortar store and bought a different brand monitor in person. I understand the issues are systemic and not personal however that's a lot of gambling on a global technology company where logistics and customer service are barely an after-thought.

Once they have your money, LG simply does not care about the customer. In 2016, I purchased an LG 98 TV for approximately $17,000, marketed at the time as LG's latest and greatest Smart TV. After just four years, a background software update permanently removed all Smart features and apps, effectively turning a flagship Smart TV into a dumb display. What followed was over four years of being strung along by LG customer service: endless promises, false hope, delays, and zero accountability.
When I finally escalated the matter to LG senior management, I was completely brushed off. Their solution? Buy a third-party device to replace the functionality LG removed. I did not pay $17,000 for a premium Smart TV to be told years later to plug in external devices to restore basic features.
If that was acceptable, I would have bought a cheap monitor instead. LG unilaterally downgraded a premium product and then had the audacity to suggest this was an acceptable outcome. LG's handling of this matter was insulting, arrogant, and disrespectful. I lodged a formal complaint with Fair Trading and took the matter to NCAT.
LG ultimately won on a technicality of time—a delay caused directly by LG's own customer service dragging the process out until I was pushed beyond the legal window. This experience made one thing very clear: for LG, winning a case matters more than customer satisfaction, integrity, or long-term loyalty.
I will never purchase another LG product again, and I strongly discourage anyone considering LG from doing so. There are many brands that stand behind their products; LG is not one of them.

Purchased an LG microwave in September 2024 from ***. It worked wonderfully until January 2026, of course after the one year warranty.
The unit would make sparks and quickly started to not heat products. A literal fire started within the unit and we unplugged it. I immediately contacted LG to see what our options were. Basically it was past the one year warranty, so the microwave is basically trash.
The microwave could have started a fire and burned out our home but LG refuses to return calls. They will schedule a customer service call yet they will not call and they have made it incredibly difficult to find any resolution for this issue.
I am putting the dangerous product in my sidewalk for all to see. Please never buy anything by LG electronics.

Set up my new 83 set over a month ago. TV never came on and had flashing red light.
Went through the process to get warranty repair.
Technician came to do repair and couldnt fix the TV and informed LG that the TV was unrepairable and had to be replaced. That was a week ago and I am still waiting to be contacted on the status of the replacement.

I have called numerous times and filed a complaint with BBB and other agencies. The company states it gave me an initial Inconvenience award, and would not follow up on any further concerns. They still have not installed nor removed the items that were to be included in the service and seem to have no intention of following up.
The delivery agent refused to deliver it on the delivery date, canceling the night before. LG awarded me a $75 inconvenience fee, and the delivery was rescheduled. The delivery agent attempted to cancel a second time, the morning of. After numerous calls to both LG and the delivery agent, they finally arrived with no further update.
However, they did not unpackage the unit and remove the shipping materials (an advertised provided service); they did not install the unit (despite my having paid for this service), and they did not haul away the existing unit, which was supposed to be a free service. They have refused to coordinate anything for the continued abysmal service, although they did state, on three separate occasions, that they would have the existing unit removed. It has been 4 months, and I am still waiting. Apparently, they think I should be grateful they refunded the installation fee after leaving it to install myself!
Horrible experience.
Regret the purchase. Will NEVER order from them again!

Posted a complaint here many months back, after numerous attempts were made with LG to provide me with an agreed upon valid 10% discount on a purchased refrigerator ($129 on a $1299 purchase). This site then informed me that LG had responded, that they would discuss with me a resolution.
Numerous further contacts attempted by me with LG, to corporate and their in-house legal, went unanswered.
Never resolved.
Tempted to file a lawsuit, but don't not if worth the time and effort; though may be entitled to 3X damages, under the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act. Have seen other site noting LG's lousy customer service.
Very disappointing how big business deals with their customers.
