Have tried reaching out to LG on multiple occasions. Between our electronics, washer and dryer and all of the appliances in our home, everything is LG. Dryer drum completely separated, as in it cracked at the weld points. This was a top of the line unit, the most expensive option Best Buy offered. Luckily warranty covered it but it was a giant pain. I had never had a dryer do that let alone one that was practically new. Washer broke out of warranty more times than I can count, LG refused to help. After spending more in repairs than the dryer was worth, I gave up and bought the cheapest Amana I could find and it’s been an amazing washer for years. Now after my ice machine breaking, and now the refrigerator no longer cooling I paid $95 just for the repair guy to tell me the compressor is broken and it will cost $1,100 to fix?????? I tried to ask for an out of warranty exception from LG given my loyalty but they refused! You think after spending over $10,000 in electronics and appliances they would appreciate me as a customer more. They offered to send a tech out to repair at 100% my cost or give me a 20% discount on another fridge!!!! Never again LG!!! I’m embarrassed by how much money I have spent with you and how many customers I’ve sent to you!

I have model WT5070CW top load LG, bought from Sears in July of 2012. Had the flake issues and still do coming from the drum on to my clothes.

And, now the rust around the bleach dispenser. Called LG for both issues, they said nope cant help will offer a discount if you buy a new LG machine.

NOT. Will not buy them again.

I bought an LG top load washing machine and I noticed it started rusting around the bleach dispenser. I contacted LG and they said it wasn't their problem. It started getting worse and I was able to find a replacement for $140.00. Thank God I was able to replace it and my boyfriend installed it. I believe LG should reimburse me the $140. They have had numerous complaints about this particular model rusting around the bleach dispenser and have done nothing. When replacing the old one, we found it was rusting underneath. Poor appliance, horrible customer service and horrible company.

Our supposedly reliable and innovative LG smart inverter neochef microwave, rated 4.5 stars, decided to develop a temperature sensor problem shortly after the 1 year warranty expired. Customer service said that obviously, since it is just past 1 year, we either buy a new microwave or pay more than the $160 it cost to purchase it to get it serviced.

By the way they will send you an email saying they need your facebook profile and the names of any orgaizations you contacted before they can contact you!!!!. Are you kidding me!!!!

Oh and you cant reply to their emails.

They make it impossible to speak to anyone or provide any means to resolve your issues. It is non stop frustrations and dead ends!!!!!!

We contacted LG because our WM3570HWA $1000 washing machine that we purchase from Best Buy in 2016 was leaking water. Not from a connection from inside the machine. LG customer service was a waste of time. After numerous calls over multiple days, they required us to wait “3-5 business days for a response from a supervisor”. Which denied the request due to being “too long out of warranty”. Same response when we informed them that water leaks, which went undetected due to coming out the rear only, caused significant damage to the rooms flooring as well as adjacent walls. Will never buy another LG product. Poor quality and even worse customer service.
