Do not buy from this company | Lg Electronics review from Monroe, Michigan

Details
We bought all new top of the line appliances. After two years our dishwasher quit. The keyboard was defected after a period of time water gets in and shorts it out. When I called customer service the call is sent to India to someone I had trouble communicating with. They pay for the part but, not the service call. The refrigerator shelves had white shelf decal that is now peeling off. Will never buy LG again.

Apparently, you thought somebody was going to make a service call to your residence, fix the telly and not charge your? Something like a television is not usually worth the bother nor the expense to repair nowadays.

When they break and you cannot fix them by resetting then just throw out and buy a new one. LG is usually fairly reliable, but things do break without warning and for no apparent reason.

FYI: stay away from the unreliable brands like HiSense, Element and others. Do some research before you buy.

LG WiFi Support Issues | Lg Electronics review

Purchase LG Refrigerator Model LFXS26596S on 11/20/2018 and it was connecting successfully until it failed to connect 9/18/2019. My washer & dryer are also LG appliances with WiFi that continue to work fine. I also have GE Monogram appliances that continue to work fine that are even further away from my WiFi router. I contacted support an have been given nothing but the run around by their support team calling on 10/1 with a promise that I'd be contacted in 24-48 hours so I waited and called them 48 hours later on 10/3 and what do you know they wanted me to wait another 24-48 hours while the tech folks (somewhere else investigate the problem)! This is a long series of delaying tactics...

Man did it ever screw up I bought a entire kitchen full of Lg products the cook top has been trouble from day one they will not send anyone to look at it without a serial number and they have positioned it on the edge were the granite is and since I'm not a certified tech if I get it I or you will void the warranty I have 2 things wrong and 5 months of warranty left but if it is not deemed to be a factory issue I will have to pay for the service charge never in my life have I ever heard of such a thing, I beg you don't ever buy anything LG

Bought a $2000+ refrigerator after 8 years it just died. Spent days trying to get someone to repair it but there's no local techs and no one would touch it for less than $500. When I finally got someone to work on it they took 2 months to change the compressor and still didn't fix it. Then abandoned the whole thing. I called lg and they wouldn't honor the parts warranty. They insisted I pay another technician to contact them or they wouldn't honor the warranty which is running out fast. I don't have another $500+ to fix this poorly made peace of junk. The 35 year old unit it replaced is still running on my back porch, there's no excuse for such crap.

My refrigerator went out a week ago. Called LG and they sent out a technician who would not repair it because there was an infestation, which was actually dust and dog kibble. Second appointment the technician never showed up and never called. I have spent hours on the phone with LG service center. Most of that time has been on hold. Asked to speak to a supervisor and have been on hold ever since.

Called LG service for a problem with ice maker needing to be replaced and water filter replaced.paid 125.00 just for them just to schedule the appt.Service guy showed up a few days later and guess what he had NO parts so why show up and waste our days.he said it was on back order but would expidite order and then come back>Really why waste our time and money if he did not have the parts to do the JOB!!! I will not buy another LG product and if this is the way they do business what a shame!!!!jd
