I had an LG washer for 2 1/2 years and had trouble with uneven loads, finally would not pump water! Called Sears where I bought it and they said I needed to put a new panel in it for 250.00 dollars! Then called LG they did diagnosis over phone wanted me to have serviceman specially for LG, no one close! I gave a lot for that washer! Ended up so disgusted I went a bought a new Maytag! I will tell all my friends not to buy LG appliances and I will never buy an LG tv as well! Word of mouth can ruin a company! I think I should have been taken care of! Such a *** piece of equipment!!!!

Lg Electronics in Houston, Texas - Plasma tv no power only clicking

I purchased a LG50PA4500 plasma tv in 2012 and it stopped working over 8 months ago, so it lasted less than 3 years. The television will not power on and there is only a clicking sound with a small red blinking light in the rear when plugged into an electrical outlet. From reading numerous blogs and other sites, I understand this may be a common issue. Will never purchase another LG product and will trash this one because repairs through LG is only warranted for 3 months. The tv is a purchased from Fry’s Electronics.

When my 1.5 year old 3d high def LED tv suddenly died, LG's customer service said they would consider extending the 1 year warranty if I would upload the receipt, which I did. Then they denied the extension request because it was "an open box purchase," which is false. When I proved it wasn't, and they stalled, ran me around for weeks, then repeated the denial "because it was an open box purchase." I kept calling back until I finally got a supervisor who admitted the "open box" reason was wrong, but they still wouldn't extend the warranty or fix the problem because I "got too big a discount." UNBELIEVABLE -- I bought it new in box on clearance at Best Buy, but LG won't fix my TV because I "only" paid $700. NEVER AGAIN WILL I BUY ANY LG PRODUCT.

On January 15th, 2015 I purchased a LG 60 Plasma television from Microcenter located 5305 S Rice Ave, Houston, TX 77081. On June 27th, 2015 the television went out. A call was placed to LG support on June 28th. A service call was sent to a local vendor to come out and replace a part on July 7th. The technician determined that a different part was need and an order was placed. A new appointment was scheduled for July 14th. I received a call on 9th, from the local repair vendor that the part was on back order and may not be received until the July 27th, 2015 and they will be out on the July 29th. After speaking with LGs customer service department, it was determined that the part is on further back order. Proof of purchase information has been sent to both LG and the local repair vendor. All need information has been provided to the EXECUTIVE SUPPORT, yet I still don’t have my television fixed or replaced. WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE TO EITHER REPAIR OR REPLACE MY SET? I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE EXPERIENCED SUCH POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE IN MY LIFE. EVERYTHING IS CONTINOUSLY BEING PUSHED OUT. I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE A RESOLUTION BEFORE FOOTBALL SEASON STARTS. New 47 led set quit working after one month. Parts back ordered. No one at LG will admitt to problems with set although complaints are all over the internet. Bad product poor customer support. Pass them up!!!!

My LG G2 from Sprint and my quick remote. I have tried setting up the remote on 5 different tv's and even went to stores and tried it on several others. I can't get the quick remote to work with any tv besides 1 smart tv. I go to program and hit the power over and over again even went to universal remote option. I got Sprint and LG can get together and up date this annoyance with the phone soon I can finally use my phone to a 100% full potential and not it weak 90%. Please resolve this problem LG so I can enjoy my Sprint service.

Lg Electronics in Austin, Texas - LG 3D TV is broken now they want to make money on service

After buying a LG 42PW350 42-Inch 720p 600 Hz Active 3D Plasma HDTV the TV wouldn't power on one day after being turned off an hour earlier. Support wanted us to pay a pile of money to have a tech come out with no guarantee of results. This TV was under warrantee for 1 year and the TV was broken before it was to so it was out of warrantee and LG support did the minimal work to get me out of the phone *** hating the company. On the other hand our Samsung that was 4 years old had trouble coming on and they sent a tech out to fix it for free. Don't buy LG but from a reputable company. Having a TV stop working before it is 2 years old is a waste of money.

Lg Electronics in Dallas, Texas - LG Tells lies followed by poor customer service

I have a 42" LG TV that has a mind of its own. It scrolls through the entire on-screen memory all by itself even lowers the volume to 0 without pressing a single button! At first LG's customer service said "its more than a year old so its out of guarantee". I was happy to prove to them that they not only produce faulty goods that do not comply with the Sale of Goods Act but they are liars as well. Why? well the guarantee is for two years! When this was pointed out they claimed that guarantee are provided as goodwill. Really! Try reading various official websites and you'll find that a gurantee is a legal contract once it is issued. So LG do you think you are above the law? Best advice to potential customers is watch LG because if they can shirk their legal reponsibilities - the'll make an eel look as sold is a rock! (excuse the mixed metaphors)

Try taking the batteries out of the remote. The remote may be erroneously sending signals to the TV. If it stops you have your answer.
